Absolutely terrible service. I politely ordered a lemonade with some pancakes. My lemonade had small black flakes, possibly mold, and my pancakes were freezer burnt. I took a sip of my lemonade and it tasted how an indoor pool would smell. I ended up getting hives, even though I’m only allergic to bee stings, and I am definitely not coming back. The restaurant was dirty and fowl and it seemed extremely rushed!
Seated right away, service was good and friendly, food was good and wait was short. Price was inline with similar restaurants in our area.
Gabe was our server today, he was so kind and efficient. The guys in the back of house were rocking out orders like no joke! I was overly satisfied with my service and the quality of our breakfast was awesome! Thank you so much.
Recently moved to Ames and my boyfriend and I have been to Perkins fairly often. Each time service was eh or okay. Tonight we went in with a friend of mine and had Josh as a server…he did a GREAT job. Very friendly and on top of it. Thank you Josh, we appreciated the great service for a change! From one server to another :))

Gabe was an absolute delight! My girlfriends and I went out for brunch and were blown away by his stellar service. Food was also delicious! Yum!
We love going to Perkins late at night and love seeing our favorite waiter Josh!!! Could not be happier with all of the experiences we have had at Perkins.

Refrigerator temp mashed potatoes, lukewarm gravy and green beans, told the waitress. She could have cared less, though I'm not sure how.But it was a holiday, at least they were open , though they weren't over busy. Kudos for that.Somehow, it tasted good anyway.
