Pulled up to the drive thru at 9:40 there website says they close at 10 I was just hoping for a healthier choice then Arbys or gas station food when I sat there for five-10 minutes and watched 3 employees dink around and see me sitting in the drive thru after waiting a bit I call and they tell me they closed early because they were short staff well maybe some advice when you are answering a call don’t be dancing around and laughing at a costumer over the phone ( yes I could see you) and that honestly wasnt right when I explaining all I wanted was just one thing they told me they couldn’t do it because they didn’t have the staff for it? Luckily Arby’s across the road was still open when I got over and served me and was way kinder then this place.
No open lobby for seating. When in the road, is nice to take a break from the cat
So quick and easy thru the drive thru and so much fresher than typical fast food. I'm a huge fan of their Jimmy Chips.

Fantastic service. They offer several options and you can make multiple alterations. Also they are on doordash and grubhub and possibly on other platforms too. Definitely try out the jalapeno chips in addition to the awesome sandwiches

Ordered no onions, verified at pickup window no onions. Bit into sandwich there was onions. Twice in a week at 2 different locations. May not return. Love their sandwiches when made correctly.
I drive a semi truck can not go through the drive through why is every restaurant in ames but you alow people to order inside the restaurant I was told they would only serve through the drive through
These guys never disappoint! Always faster than I expect and freakin amazing staff! The only thing I would chang is the entrance that is shared with Kum & Go to the east, causes a lot of congestion with the shared entrance. They still get 5 stars but hopefully the city of Ames will seek out better planning options for that section of 13th. JJ's will always be a number #1 with their Gargantuan.
