Nice stadium. Pretty clean and seats were pretty nice as well. We were in the stadium for opening ceremonies for Odyssey of the Mind :)
I attended my son's recent Iowa State University graduation ceremony in the Hilton Coliseum. There was more than enough seating for the families of all the graduates of both the "College of Liberal Arts and Sciences" and the "Ivy College of Business" - and, with the help of the video screens, everyone could see.This is a beautiful and incredibly well designed venue in which to celebrate this milestone!(And the restrooms are super nice - very large, very clean, very modern and accessible from almost everywhere within the coliseum...that alone would earn a five star review.)

Hilton Magic is for real! You have to experience it for yourself. Not a bad seat in the house.
I bet the noise can get intense when it's fully packed and the game is exciting. Bowl shaped stadiums are by far my favorite, for views and overall atmosphere. The students working the concession stands definitely make the experience even better. The upper levels of the stadium and its stairs can be a bit treacherous for some, so glad they have railings. I heard that there used to be no railings, wow that had to be a bit intimidating for some fans. The students at the basketball games, make the atmosphere electric and while the overhead signage is smaller when compared to other stadiums, it does not impact the experience in a negative way. Definitely had fun and can't wait to get back there for another event.
Cyclone Alley is always top notch. The building itself may be in need of a refresh, but the environment is still too notch.

Always love going here for games! No matter how the team is doing, I really enjoy when someone from track runs the Iowa State flag around the arena during the under 4 timeout!!
Expensive concessions, not worthwhile to spend the money. Tickets to games and events are rather inexpensive though and a fun family outing! Usually will end in defeat unfortunately
Herr for my sons graduation. However it is widely known as one of the best environments for college basketball in the country. I say this as an Iowa Hawkeye fan but facts don't lie
