The biscuits are to die for. Party of four each had different items. Everything delicious. Did I say the biscuits are to die for? Wish I had a second appetite!

The burritos and pork sandwiches here are amazing - I think this is a hidden gem of Ames because it is co-located with the Phillips 66 station. It has a nice but small seating area - can also just take food to go - I will stop every time I am in Ames
Fast food outlets offer hash brown only to find tatter tots HyVee did away with their hash browns . If you want real crispy hash browns this is the only place I found in Ames. i suggested prime rib on game days as the do BBQ in back that I have not tried . Family owned
So much more than a Gas Station. Great food! Excellent people! Stayed at the hotel across the street ate breakfast and lunch here everyday.
I am apprehensive about posting this review. Not sure if I want to share this hidden gem, but the team working there are awesome and deserve praise. It's the best pork loin sandwich period. My wife had the blueberry bbq sandwich, and it crushed. Did breakfast and lunch the same day when dropping my son off for college. My new spot.
Blueberry brisket melt and the fries are my go to here and super delicious ? would go back.

They always have a lunch special going on, the food was very good and for the price you get plenty of it. I normally get the brisket or pork tenderloin with a side of fries. The large portion sizes are great you can probably share it between two people. This is a must try place.
