Very delicious! I ordered the blackened chicken angel hair and it came with a side salad. It had great flavors. The chicken was peppery as expected. The angel hair had veggies and cream in it. I'd go again and literally order the same thing. The bistro size is a perfect portion that you can make out of one meal or even 2 tiny portions if you like.
The service here. 10 of 10! The atmosphere is gorgeous! The lighting is beautifully intense.. yet exceptionally breathtaking. Very Romantic. It has a way of making you feel like you're in a movie.. or a fairytale.. of a special moment just waiting to happen. I could see a purposal happening here for sure. The bar side is so classy! And the establishment is by far one of the best in Ames all around. If you haven't been here... find you a date and make a special memory at this amazing restaurant. I have also ate with family here and it is still a memory for the books. And their adult drinks and adult icecream drinks are so beautifully presented and each one in it's own element.. tastes like perfection! You'll love it!

Food was good but i had a conversation with the owner of this establishment because iam over 21 and haven’t gotten my horizontal id I just wanted a beer with my meal everywhere else in ames I’ve never had and issue with my vertical id it clearly dissplays my age but the waitress told me no and when I asked to speak to the manager the owner himself told me it’s was illegal to serve me even though I’m clearly over age so I went home and researched this it’s up to the owner digression it’s not illegal to serve an adult a beer but this honestly bothered me I was out to dinner with my fiancé and have never been treated like a kid at a restaurant the food was very expensive definitely not worth not being able to have a drink and enjoy my daye

Service was good, thanks Melissa for your friendly helpfulness. The starter salad was fresh and tasty, I absolutely will recommend and return for the Jambalaya. Fun dessert!
We went for a day late Valentine’s dinner and was not disappointed! Noah at the bar took care of us and we couldn’t have asked for better service…. Amazing! The chef Steve was very helpful with menu items and both had the best customer service. The food was wonderful and don’t skip dessert…. Delicious!!!
Lunch menu was good. Wonderful portion sizes. Salmon was perfectly cooked.very lovely place.
I don't think I've ever had food that was better than Aunt Maude's Tequila Chicken Fettuccini. Absolutely blew my mind. If you have the chance to go here, do it!!!
I eat here often. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious and flavorful. The portion size is just right to large depending on the dish. The prices are on the higher end of average, but I would call it a bargain considering the quality. It is easily my favorite restaurant in Ames, and among the best in Iowa.
