I stopped by during the lunch hour on a Friday (July 2022), and while there was very little business, the service was poor. The young man working the counter was very helpful and kind. But the kitchen staff was entirely indifferent. Some were talking to each other. Some were in the dining room looking at a moth that had flown in. I only ordered two sandwiches, no drinks or sides, and these took quite a while. I felt bad for the counter help as he was doing his best, but seemed to have little support. The food was decent when it arrived, but not great.
Arby's on 13th st in ames IA I do not advise going to. Our sandwiches not hot and they do not fill the fries cartons full. So if order large fries they are more like mediums. You pay the amount for large but only get the amount for a medium. The one duff is better

Going to this Arby's feels like getting paired up with the kid with attention problems and negligent parents during math class.Do what you can, it will end soon enough. Also wash your hands immediately afterwards
Jody did an excellent job and provided top knot h customer service. The new Waygu burger is great too!
I'm still waiting for the day they put four pounds of extra food in my bag in the drive-through, to make up for the things they've missed or gotten wrong over the last six months since i started giving them a second chance, after not eating there for ten years after they refused to honor their own advertisement.

I live their classic roast beef sandwiches and the jamocha shake. Service at the drive up was quick.
This is the best fast food in town. They are very consistent and the food is always fresh.
