Food is pretty good for what it is in Ames but I've never eaten Mexican before where cheese isn't a main ingredient and an automatic.If you want cheese on your nachos, super fries or burrito it will cost you extra $$$3. I don't even want to find out what sour cream might cost me. Weirdest thing ever! Am I wrong?
This is disappointing to post, I go here at least once a week for their breakfast burritos. It is usually really good, but last Friday I ordered 4 burritos for me and my coworkers, which totaled over $50, and they were terrible. They were cold when I got them, and tasted terrible. The meat didn’t taste right, and the tortilla was all torn up. Then later that day I saw a Facebook post that another customer saw them serving food that had fallen on the floor!! Of course it was the same time of day that I was there. I will never go to this location again!
They have a drive-thru window, but are closer to a sit down restaurant than to fast food. You order at the counter and then they bring you your food. They have a very extensive menu and delicious, authentic Mexican food.
Had a wonderful catering event for work today and was showed so much hospitality by the woman who coordinated the event. The food was also excellent. Thank you again!
Guy behind the counter literally ignored me when I tried to place an order. He was engrossed in his phone looking at videos. Dunno what his deal was, but to not acknowledge me when I was standing right in front of him and even tried getting his attention is incredibly rude.
Chimi platter & a side of chips with Queso are always freshly made!

The gentlemen working the drive-thru window tonight rang in my order wrong. It happens, I get it. Instead of fixing it, he tried to charge me for the extra item. Naturally I refused, so he decided not to give me my order. Luckily I got my money back, but that’s a little ridiculous if you ask me. I recommend going somewhere with better customer service.
