Great place that's rightfully famous at Purdue. It's usually quite busy (which is a good sign!), but with a group of 3-5 people you'll be seated in no time and have quick, attentive counter service. Outdoor, sheltered seating is also available if you have a bigger group. The new "Hey Jay" burger (pictured) is perfect, but if that's not your style there's something for everyone here. If you're lucky enough to have Brooke as your waitress, you'll have a great experience.

I've been coming here for 30 years. The food is outstanding, service is outstanding. It's always clean. Parking can be difficult. The root beer is really good, although not my favorite. It definitely has a unique, memorable flavor. It's definitely my go-to drink here. Also, free refills. Duane Purvis All American Burger is a must order! It's a quarter pounder with lettuce onion tomato pickle cheese and... Peanut butter! Don't knock it until you've tried it! It's outstanding! Also, their burgers come with fries and a pickle and the fries are excellent. There's not a bad seat in the house!

Don’t dress up to come sit at the counter for your burger, just come as you are! The staff is very nice and the burger is fresh. Everything was hot and we had no complaints!

Very busy but got seated rather fast. Did get shoehorned at the long bar/in door eating area, shoulder to shoulder with whoever is next to you.

We have been coming to Triple XXX since our Purdue days 30 years ago, and I'm happy to report that it's as good as ever! During our most recent stay in West Lafayette, we ate here twice: once for dessert and then again the next day for breakfast! The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the food is always delicious! Don't leave West Lafayette without trying their famous root beer!

Nostalgic Diner that has been there for almost 90 years. Great root beer and fantastic burgers! Like going back in time! It was so good, we went back for breakfast the next morning!

Famous restaurant featured on many TV shows and know for its rootbeer. Both got rootbeer and double steaks with cheese. Paid for extra onions and got our money’s worth. Got onion rings and seasoned curly fries, both get a thumbs up from me. Overall, good experience and good food.

Saw this place on the Food Channel a few years ago and finally got the chance to stop in. Was smaller than I expected, seating wise. However, it's definitely a place to check out if you are in the area. Great food and service. Our server was in ROTC so we had a great conversation about life in the military (I served 11 years) and the affects on personal relationship. Root beer and burgers were on point. Would definitely stop in again.

This place embodies the American experience. Food is really tasty and attention is very nice as well. However, the most remarkable is the whole environment, including the customers. As foreigner, I enjoy to experience everything that happens there all the times I go. It's important to use eyes of curiosity to see more than the food

We stopped in for a late breakfast early lunch. I was reluctant and skeptical based on the hype, I was wrong it is great. The location is easy to find, parking was a little tricky, but completely findable. The restaurant is small, but they had tents set up in the drive-up portion for additional seating. The inside is very small and has counter-style seating. Very old school. The service was great, quick, friendly, and right on point. The food was very good. We all got burgers and they were so good. The rootbeer is awesome, we got a six-pack to go. The prices were very fair. We will make this a must-go-to whenever we are in the area.
