The ice cream is great and the staff are friendly, if it weren't so expensive it would be even better.
I usually go to the Silver Dipper on the levee, but, today, decided to go to this one on Sagamore Parkway. I'm so glad I did. Both have amazing ice cream, but this Silver Dipper... WOW! I'm only sorry I didn't get the name of the young lady who made my hot fudge sundae. No joke; it's the best hot fudge sundae I've had in years! We were there @2:30p.m. Amazing sundae. My Son had a banana split, and was equally pleased. I already liked Silver Dipper, but this is my go to Silver Dipper from now on.
Good variety of ice cream especially the non sugar ones. One cons is we can't try flavor before a purchase

Stopped here for a cool treat on a hot day as I was leaving town. Very cute ice cream shop. The cases were filled with flavors and had so many flavors to choose from. I wish I got a scoop of everything because they all sounded so good.I had the zanzibar ice cream, which is a very dark chocolate ice cream that's made with three types of chocolate, is rich, is creamy, and had a fudgy/thick texture. Yum! It was so good! I even picked up a scoop of vanilla for my dog. Vanilla is her favorite flavor.
We have been there several times and the ice cream is a treat everyone should experience when they go to West Layefatte, Indiana. When we were there last week on a Thursday afternoon the store was full of customer that must feel the same way we do. 9-21 still the best ice-cream ever.
