My favorite sushi place in town, get the crunchy shrimp roll and salmon niagri ( unsure how to spell it )
mediocre sushi. does the job of filling your craving but the price is not worth it. Very small portions with soggy seaweed with barely any filling besides rice. Recommend another place, but eat it if you don’t have a choice
The BEST sushi. Super fast and very clean restaurant. Their prices are super reasonable, and the quality is excellent. Highly recommend!
Although they say dine in in their website, they are only open for take out. Still best sushi in town!!
Great place, especially for its price. Staff is friendly and the pickup times is always extremely quick. Fish always tastes fresh and just about all of their rolls are good. They don't do dine-in, so be sure you plan to take it home with you or eat outside at the seating in Chauncey.
Salmon was not fresh, had a freezer taste to it. Rolls were meh and sashimi was meh. Prices also aren't great. Skip this place and give Denju a try!
Absolutely and forever will be OBSESSED with maje. Found them when I was a freshman at Purdue and now I'm WFH-ing in Lafayette--still order pickup on nearly a weekly basis. Fish is fresh, orders are correct, prices are reasonable (especially compared to other sushi spots in the area), and my food's almost always ready on time!
Love the sushi, personally wish they wentBack to grub hub or door dash as I can’t track where it’s at with chow now. My order is over 10 mins past “delivery time” and I can’t track it. I’m on lunch break so this is frustrating
Very good sushi and reasonable prices, love their real crab sushi rolls, handrolls are also good, although a little pricey.
I am a senior at Purdue and I’ve been going to Maje Sushi since I was a freshman so I figured it was time for me to leave a review. This has been my favorite takeout place since I started college. I used to order weekly and now I still do! They have never once made a mistake, delayed my order, or were unfriendly. Even with covid, their pickup times are only about 10 minutes after you order and they are always on time. I’m glad I discovered Maje Sushi during my freshman year and have eaten from there for 4 years now. I will definitely miss it once I graduate!
