Went here today..May 1st for my daughters birthday celebration. When food was being delivered, there was a very thin, small man I assume is management that was helping the server deliver the food. He was calling out the food as we were all conversating and cleary got an attitude if he was not promptly paid attention too and started to walk away with the orders instead of showing some patience. Our server was less than mediocre with no plates, not enough silverware, no drink refills and did not clear even 1 empty plate from the table. They sang happy birthday which I would say is a requirement because you could see the lack of enthusiasm in their faces and we should have just told themno. The staff completed ruined her birthday lunch and we will never come here again as we have been coming for years. This place has certainly gone down hill.
Awful food and terrible service. Stale chips, appetizer was cold and shredded chicken was not edible. We requested a top shelf margarita and it was obviously made with cheap tequila. The foors and bathroom were in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Do yourself a favor and keep on driving, this place is not worth your time or money. Do not eat here.
LONG OVERDUE FOR A HEALTH INSPECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Poor quality of food, unsanitary conditions. You will not get what you pay for!!! La comida era muy mala!!!!!! I literally spit my food out in front of the servers. You can tell someone is cutting corners to stay afloat, don't contribute to the nonsense! If someone steals from you, they were in desperate need of money.
Ordered chicken and steak fajitas for a business dinner and drove 20 min to & from to pick it up. After getting back, I realized they didn't give us any tortilla shells so I called right away. First I am told they can't deliver the missing shells nor can they issue any sort of refund because, in their minds, the shells are not part of the actual meal but merely something extra that I suppose they provide out of the kindness of their hearts. Not only is it included on the menu, but I have NEVER ordered fajitas that did not come with tortilla shells. So I speak with the manager who finally agrees to refund 15% off the two fajita meals only after I got firm with the guy, telling him this isn't my fault here and I should not have to drive all the way back in the snow for them to uphold their end of the transaction. Needless to say, I never received any refund at all and to add insult to injury, we also found a long black hair woven through a piece of the steak. I could vomit just recounting the situation. We will NEVER order from this abysmal excuse of a restaurant again.
Foods are meh compared to other Mexican places on Lafayette. Convenient spot to hang out and enjoy drinks with friend though. It is within walkable distance from campus.
I ordered American chicken tacos, and put in the note please no cilantro I have an allergy. They sent Mexican tacos. I called and explained the allergy and they said they would credit me for that part of the order. They never did. So I suggest not ordering from them if you have any food allergies because they won’t put in any effort to honor them and they won’t ever return your money for their severe mess up.
We ordered $37.00 worth of dinner from La hacienda in w lafayette. Two taco salads and a sandwich. One salad was barely warm, the other salad must have been sitting in the refrigerator, it was cold and greasy! When we inquired about compensation for a meal that you could not eat, they replied they do not give refunds! Please be careful with this place when you ask for delivery. I am not going back there if this is how they treat their customers, giving them cold, greasy food and not compensating them!
Had a great experience here. Really enjoyed the food, and loved the traditional salsa and chips before the meal. The place is also really cute and just feels like a traditional Mexican restaurant! The service is also great, and everyone is really friendly.
Great food with terrible service. Lunch dishes served super quick... really quick! And, so good! But drinks, service and check ins were almost non existent.
Place was overcrowded. Margarita was weak for was bland. Still tipped well, service was great given the loud and cramped situation.
