Pizza is good but the breadsticks are the BEST.
IF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS TRUST & BELIEVE I WOULD HAVE!!!!!I ORDERED & I PAID FOR —ONE (1) THING OF GARLIC BREADSTICKS THAT CAME WITH ONE (1) CUP OF NACHO CHEESE.I ASO ORDERED & PAID FOR ONE (1) CHICKEN-ALFREDO-PEPPERONI PIZZA *I DO BELIEVE THAT IT WAS THE 14 INCH PIZZA. ** I MAY BE WRONG ON THE 14 INCH SIZE, BUT I DO KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IT WAS THE BIGGEST SIZE I WAS ABLE TO ORDER.**I ALSO, PAID THE STUPID DOORDASH DELIVERY FEE!!!!I ORDERED, & PAID FOR THIS MEAL IN FULL, WITH ZERO (0) PROMO CODES OR DISCOUNTS. I DID THIS TWO (2) DAYS AGO FROM THIS PLACE(HOT BOX PIZZA— THE CHAUNCEY HILL LOCATION) AS OF THIS MORNING 03/20/2022 I AM STILL RUNNING TO THE BATHROOM EVERY TWENTY (20) TO THIRTY (30) MINUTES WITH 100% LIQUID DIEAREAHA!!!!! Totally give them a call if you want to hear what sounds like the sighs, rude mocking laughter, moans and groans of a prepubescent boy who was told to clean their room by mom as you're trying to give them your order. Absolutely the rudest restaurant I've experienced. I just hung up out of fear this person, who obviously was miserable at his job, might do disgusting things to our food equal to his maturity level.This happened at 1150am on October 18. I called the one on Vine to place our lunch order because the one near IU Health on the west side where we work was closed due to staffing unfortunately.
Joke!I ordered a small cheese pizza with veggies on topThey sent me a cheese slice pizza, with raw veggies sprinkled on topDomino’s is WAY better
Staff is kinda unprofessional over the phone and in person but they’re college kids I understand BUT they put so much of our choice of toppings on the pizzas which was awesome
They said 30-35 minute delivery, its been over an hour!
I was rushing to pick up a salad and completely forgot to grab my mask - I even forgot my purse and keys... The guy with the beard greeted me very rudely with, “do you have a mask?”. I told him “no, I’m sorry” (thinking he’d hand me one to put on) Then he said “do you go in places without a mask?” and I replied with “I’m not from around here so I don’t know who still requires them, I’m sorry” (it’s not a state mandate anymore so..) and he said “well around here we wear them. Are you vaccinated?” - WHO ARE YOU TO ASK THAT? Then he paused like he wasn’t going to give me my order that I already paid for online. After a long pause he basically threw it on the counter at me because he was so disgusted and it clearly showed. Treated me very poorly. Extremely rude. Extremely unprofessional - which is not surprising at a place where kids work. I’ve never had a customer service/food worker raise their voice at me. THEN he walked outside to smoke… hilarious. If he just would have asked me (not even politely, but just asked) to go grab a mask and said nothing else, I would have gladly done that - but since he didn’t and was extremely rude, I decided to leave a review. I NEVER write reviews but this was unnecessary. I told probably ten different coworkers who live in West Lafayette (as I do not live here, I’m only here once a week for work) and they informed me that particular location was the “dirtiest” and he is always rude. I plan on NEVER going back to any Hot Box location. Unprofessional, rude, and mean. How is you smoking with a huge beard sanitary for making food?I can’t believe Hot Box trains their employees to treat people so badly. If I could give negative stars I would.
