Went to Big Woods in West Lafayette for the first time today (10/20/21). Loved the ambience and the wood furniture. My wife and I ordered the Big Woods Chicken and the Maple Bourbon Chicken. After the first bite we realized that the chicken, bacon and bun were all burnt. Showed the meal to our hostess who took it back to the kitchen and returned later with our new meal. Actually it was the same burnt/seared chicken on a different bun. Meal still tasted of charcoal. I didn't finish my sandwich.....enjoyed the fries, though. Hostess apologized again but we still paid full price for the meal. Not impressed at all
Counted 7 servers, not including the one that was training. we were seated 20 min before anyone acknowledged our existence. finally got water. 15 min later, we got our beers AND our appetizers. server says sorry for the wait, we came in during volleyball rush. we were seated a good 15 min before that rush came in the door.
Great food and drinks! The pulled pork is the best
Parking is a little tricky if you're unfamiliar with the area, but once you find it, you're good! We visited in May 2021 when in town looking to relocate. There weren't many other customers at the time, so it was very quiet and laid back. Our server was friendly and efficient, and the food was tasty. We tried pizza, truffle parmesan fries and one of their cocktails - everything was delicious. Can't wait to visit again!
My wife & I have been to Big Woods Pizza Co. twice now & it is amazing! Friendly Atmosphere + Delicious Pizza = Happy Couple!

We have always had great service and food. Some of the best burgers in town along side some good beer.
A decent replacement to the fantastic Stacked Pickle, tons of room, comfortable and easy going area, brews with unique and original flavors, menu is tidy but offers well thought out items and burgers to tingle the senses just reading the descriptions: "Candied Bacon Bomb" is something we never realized we wanted until now. We all went for burgers and two did brews. Enjoyed it all, no one had complaints, we miss Stacked Pickle for its amazing appetizers and creative burgers at a great value but this will do OK despite fierce competition. I personally take to Teay's River with it's massive menu and fresh drips. The Tap drowns everyone with an overwhelming beer list. Big Woods mixes those two together to boast on the campus vibes, easy parking, and Nashville inspired fare.
