Relaxing atmosphere and genuine service/interactions from our server ( Sophia ) and the staff. A little unique twist with the food menu from your typical breakfast joints in the area.
My server was Alexis and she did a GREAT job serving. She was fast and had such a great personality. She made this brunch experience a 10/10! The food was so good and was served fast. My family and I will definitely be back soon!
I went to Another Broken Egg Cafe a few mornings ago and have yet to stop thinking about the experience. The ambiance of the establishment intertwined with the delectable, wafting smells of freshly roasted coffee could only be defined as pure serendipity. The service I received was par excellence. My waiter (who was named Brayden) was always quick to refill my mug, bring out my food, treat me with respect, and even had time to crack some well-timed jokes. The food that was delivered unto me was ambrosia-like. Bacon sizzled and fried to the perfect degree of crunchy and chewy and the eggs were like yellow, fluffy clouds. Ah, it was all so beautiful and I enjoyed every moment I spent at Another Broken Egg Cafe.
OMG this place is absolutely a five star and then some place to eat. I was attending my grandsons' White Coat Ceremony in Indianapolis and was told by him that it's his favorite place to eat. My first thought was to ask how their grits was cooked, but I thought that would be rude to ask. My daughter had them and they were cooked to perfection. As well as everything else. And the drinks OMG.Place clean, service fast and polite, atmosphere calming.
Great coffee and even better food. They even had gluten free pancakes and vegetarian options.
When we arrived we were told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour. When the hour mark hit, I asked the hostess where we were in line with her telling us there were only 2 people in front of us so it should be soon. After 20 minutes and 5 more parties seated, I asked again where we were and again was told that it would be soon. Finally, at an hour and a half of waiting, when I asked again I was snapped at by the hostess that we would be seated soon. Thankfully, we were seated about 5 minutes later. Moral of the story… don’t believe the wait time they tell you cause it will actually be double.
Another broken egg is the staple of quality breakfast no matter the location, and the west Lafayette option is no exception. Fast, knowledgeable, and accommodating service with a meal you’ll want to come back for again and again.Pros:- food- service- dietary options- specials- drinks- breakfast is served into the afternoonCons:- price- wait times (get the app or check in online)- rotating staff (hard to become a regular)In summary, this is the best breakfast you can find near Purdue. The only downside is that the price makes it more of an occasional visit instead of a weekday staple. Check in online before you come and you’ll have a great experience.
great service and food. would def. return♥️
Another stellar experience at Another Broken Egg! Whenever we visit Lafayette, we make sure to get breakfast here. The city grits are so flavorful with bacon, green onions and tomato.Any entree with a poached egg will be delicious. The wait staff is always friendly and will make sure your order is made exactly how you want it (even when combining two entrees if you can't decide).
Normally this place is a fun and different option for breakfast with tasty drinks in the morning. Today however we were informed that the grill was not in working order which effectively took out half of the menu AFTER we were seated and had drink orders placed. Our group stayed despite the large inconvenience and we payed for it. Service was incredibly slow and the food served had missing components that we were told the grill did not interfere with. As we were walking out we observed several tables had the items we were told were not available when we ordered them because of the grill outage. Overall poor experience at a usually average eatery.
