This restaurant has a lot of positives. It has a fun atmosphere, good food, and outdoor seasonal seating is available. The reason for the three stars is because we waited an hour to receive our food. Since we were inside, due to the temperatures outside, there were a lot of flies during our meal. We had to ask our waitress for the bill, to bring us a to-go box for our leftovers, and it just seemed like she was really busy. (Not a bad thing for the restaurant business, but not great when you don't want to be at a restaurant for over an hour and a half, on a Tuesday night.) My suggestion is either go earlier in the day and eat inside or go earlier in the week and eat outside.
Tried Lakelife last night and it did not disappoint! We started with the corn fritters and the Bavarian pretzel. Both were outstanding. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken wrap and he said it was great. I got the pesto grilled chicken sandwich and it was amazing and huge! It had two chicken breasts on it. I didn’t eat the bun because it was so good even without it. I also got a side of the grilled veggies which were very fresh and fantastic. We will definitely be back!!
Very nice remodeled restaurant and bar on beautiful lake Barbee. Very clean and very good wait staff. We were served quickly with great recommendations. Drive in with your vehicle or golf cart or motor up to the dock in your boat. Great outdoor seating as well as inside seating. Definitely a place I will visit again when in the area
Never been there until the remodel. We really enjoyed it. Excellent food. Excellent service and drinks. The place is really nice. We will definitely go back!Thanks for the hospitality!!
Savanna was an excellent server, friendly & helpful. We enjoyed the Lakelife Burger and Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese!!!!
This was our first time eating here. They were very busy and the outside seating was pretty full so we decided to eat inside. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the cornbread cassarole. I do not like cornbread but the waitress said we should try it so my husband got it. I tried it and it did not disappoint. We will be going back again.
New restaurant. Recent opening was highly anticipated in the area, and it was busy! All 8 of us felt the service and food was great! Excellent menu variety. Love that we can drive OR boat to this restaurant. Indoor seating and outdoor waterfront dining. Decor is amazing!!
The atmosphere and the waitress was great, the food was ok. The fish was too fishy for me. We got 2 meals, and 2 mixed drinks and the bill was $60. Probably won't go back.
This little spot on Barbee is cute and a major upgrade from the last business that was here. Waitress was great and drinks were great! Will definitely be going back.
The remodel is outstanding. Melanie is an engagingly great waitress. Our first two meals here were fresh and delicious. The vegetables certainly were never frozen. While I will miss the old Barbee Landing and it's hole in wall appeal, the Lakelife Bar and Grill is a much better destination, with better views, staff and dining experience.
