First time there, the young lady was very friendly, good food & good service. My hubby & I were glad that we were there.
Got food poisoning here, their drink ads are fake since they can't serve alcohol after severing a minor, screw this nasty place and their garbage food they still serve. They need to close this place down
Food was disappointing. Tacos were bland and no sauce provided. Any other place gives you sauces without asking. Just wasn't as good as the reviews say.
The Mexican food taste in Valparaiso has become lazy, but I was pleasantly surprised by Serranos. I went a couple days ago and since then they have become my new favorite mexican place. All the flavors I desire in mexican food were in their food

It's a little nicer than a hole in the wall with all the flavor and large portions you would expect from a hole in the wall. Serranos is a gem and has the best Mexican food I've tasted anywhere in Porter County, let alone Valparaiso.They also have gluten free, vegetarian, and Gluten Free AND vegetarian options!It seems like it's never so busy that you can't get a table, but it is a smaller place so beware of that.The wait staff are insanely friendly, too.If you're in northern Valparaiso, you're better off coming here than La Cabana... In fact, if you're in southern Valparaiso, you're better off making the trip up here for Serranos.
Their food is absolutely delicious. Customer service is excellent. We are never disappointed when we order from Serranos!

OMG this place is so good this is my first time ordering out I ordered a tostada a sope and an enchilada and a taco salad because I wanted to try a little bit of everything I ordered a side of beans a rice and guacamole everything is awesome please come visit this place so cute on the inside and the food is amazing I will definitely be coming back I'm actually going to call them and tell them how good their food is
This is a good Mexican restaurant that offers an extensive menu. The Carne Asada was very good. The tacos and rice and beans were also good. They don't serve any alcohol. Still would recommend this restaurant for good casual dining.
