I live in Warsaw but drive to Valparaiso so I can have a Schoops hamburger. This location is awesome, always fast and friendly service and they really make you feel welcome. The hamburgers as always are huge and delicious. I had onion rings with my double hamburger on this latest visit and also had great service by Kelsey. I always have a good experience at the Valparaiso Schoops!
A trip to another restaurant put us across the street from Shoops. A very plain and unassuming exterior does not do the inside justice. Very clean and surprisingly popular. Counter service is also available. Hamburgers are smashed on the griddle and get a crispy edge to them. This is a small Northwest Indiana chain well worth stopping at. Other locations do not appeal to me as much as this one was right for a nice meal
This place USED to be good! Highly disappointed in this last visit. As a child I remember this place being so good. The staff USED to be nice as well. This time I walked in and immediately there were at least 3 dirty tables. Only one girl working while the rest sat at the bar eating. As we sat down one of the girls sitting down eating loudly made a statement. So loudly the whole store heard her say "really their going to sit at the table I just clean" while proceeding to stuff her face. Needless to say I didn't want her to get my tip and we left. So incredibly RUDE!
I used to love schoops but it has gone downhill. Texas nachos were a soupy soggy mess we didn’t even eat. Service was bad too but they’re kids so I understand it’s probably their first job and not a big deal for me but my son asked for a box for an entire burger and curly fries and she brought a tiny side box. So I asked for another box for his fries, she said sure and never brought one. We just left, I’m done. Too many other great places to get a burger.

Never been to Schoop's for breakfast but it was pretty good. They were pretty nice and I wouldnt mind going from time to time for breakfast but definitely not all time.
We had a classic and a classic cheese burger. The smash style is our favorite with the crunchy edges of the patties. Service was friendly and just the right amount of attn. We wish it was a little cleaner. The tables and seating areas were in need of a wipe down. They were able to get that done for us before seating, but it's something that more attention could be spent on.

Stop that whining! Get a hand made shake at Schoops. Yeah, the burgers are good, the french fry orders are generous, the chili was nice and hot on a cold day after skating. BUT What is better than getting a whining 8 year old to clam up for $3?
Great hamburger and service. Everything very clean and neat including the restrooms. This was my second visit to this location. I will be back.
