Went there today with my granddaughter. The server was ae good as she could be. She had both sides of the restaurant by herself. She did her best. Both of our meals were terrible. Food was cold, and no flavor. This was my 3rd time there. My husband and I went twice and said never again it was terrible. I let my granddaughter talk me into going today, even after I told her my experience. She really wanted saganaki, and every place else we wanted to go was closed because of the holiday weekend. That being said we both went home and got sick. Don't waste your time or money.

Pretty bad, you want to order because your brother-in-law is getting out of the hospital and the lady taking your order keeps grunting complaining. Sorry there are 3 of us getting food. Then to be told 20-25 minutes. Then best of all being told another 15 minutes. Hah! Make it another 15 after that. Worst service here. Get better staff who value their job and be honest on wait time.

Food wasn't good, chocolate chips waffles was sad, hash browns had no flavor, coffee was water flavored coffee at best. The waitress was rude - not sassy rude just rude.We were just a bother to her.I will never return

Sat for about 30 or more minutes, without anyone even coming up to our table. We then heard the servers and front people arguing about who was gonna take care of us.We figured at least someone would come over to us now, because clearly they know we've been waiting.No. We waited another 10 minutes, and just ended up leaving. While someone who was sat AFTER us, got their meal.

First experience was ok. Not great, just ok.Second experience was terrible.Horrible customer service, and how in the world are you too busy to take an order, when there's no one in your parking lot? What that means is you're too understaffed to be open. Worst dinner, ever. ?

The chicken bow tie soup broth was tasty, but soup lacked veggies. The salad should not have been sold; it was brown around the edges. They also forgot to add a spoon, so we had to double back - driving back to DC. ?

Best hole in the wall diner I have been to. Everything was great on the menu. I ate every day there for 2 weeks while I attended a school in that area. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are all great. They have a large variety of food to choose from. The best thing is you get so much food for your money. This should be a tourist attraction, if I am ever in the area again they will see me again. Thanks.

Kind of on the fence with this place. I have been here several times and the first two times were not a great experience because my server was just so slow. She wasn't been in anyway just a natural slow person so you practically had to anticipate what you needed so you could tell her now so you would have in within the next 30 minutes. Also the phone line rings excessively loud there, it is jarring when you are trying to unwind and enjoy your food. My favorite item to eat there is the melting pot skillet and it is amazing. All of the food is pretty well priced and others I have been there with enjoyed some items like their burgers but would recommend any seafood item. In my more recent visits I have had different servers and they were faster but again still slow compared to other restaurants. Not a horrible place, everyone is nice, the food can be hit or miss although great prices.

Always a great place to eat, the waitresses always on point. Food is 98% good out of the time.

I haven't been to the South Haven location in a while. And never went when the Portage location was open. But after today's visit I have no desire to ever really go back. The lemon rice has really went downhill and that really is the only reason I'd go. Also I wouldn't have just gave it 2 stars over the food. Certain things you automatically do as a server was lacking.
