I'm not really sure where to start. I had a reservation and when I arrived they looked at me like I made it up then continued to find me a table. Wasn't ever really able to figure out who my server/waitress was for the night. Had three different people "helping" yet none introduced themselves and were very pushy about me ordering. I finally order and my daughter who has been patiently waiting for crayons has to ask for them again. Still nothing for 15 minutes. Then AS the food comes out they being crayons as if I needed them anymore. Food came out with no utensils. Waited 10 minutes for a server to come back around to ask for them. Server said sure thing and never came back with anything. Another customer overheard and noticed the situation and brought me Silverware. What a joke. Service staff can audibly be heard sitting inside chatting whilst not even able to bring the basic requisites for dining. After finally getting utensils, I go to begrudgingly eat the clearly now cold steak. I ordered it medium rare and it came out wall to wall grey, well done no doubt. Tried to take a single bite and It didn't EVEN HAVE SALT. NO SEASONING AT ALL. How badly can one cook ruin a single steak? Was an absolute joke for 40$, a 9$ Walmart steak would have been better. Also the fries were a wet soggy mess that felt like they were soaked in warm oil. Never fried. No crispness was existent. If the kitchen staff can't even keep their grills and fryers at the correct temp, they need to be retrained. After all this and having my food returned, I waited another 30 minutes just to get a check. And mind you our server walked by us multiple times ignoring the situation. Overall I wish I could give a better review considering others enjoy it, but the service and food I received were underwhelming and a waste of my time.

Picks Tavern was really good. We enjoyed the sunshine on their outdoor patio and had really good service! Not a place for vegetarians/vegans but there is a breakfast burrito on Sunday Brunch menu!Very good Bloody Marys!!!!

Food was great! I did the prime rib, Wife got Poke. Place was packed. The food was fresh and well prepared, all tasted fantastic! The Creme Brule was fantastic, best I think I ever had.Service was somewhat slow, like they needed more help than what they had..was well worth the trip, will be going back!

Excellent food (large portions, great variety and the best fries!). 9 people in our party and all loved the food. Fish and chips, burger, shrimp Diablo, 1/2 chicken, rigatoni and ramen ….all great. Great service as well. Friendly staff. This was our first visit and we will definitely return. Than you.

One of the better Pubs in Valparaiso ID. Good food along with good service

Great food, relaxed, but classy atmosphere, good service, what more does a couple need for a dinner date? Oh yeah, great dessert made for two to share! Will definitely be eating out here again!

Had a great meal! Perfect date night.

Great attitude employees. Very nice nestled away in downtown Valparaiso. Glad we decided to go here for dinner. Great salmon, shrimp diabolo, & steak. Much better tasting food then any mid price franchise restaurants. Severs where tentative. Clean washrooms, clean restaurant.

Came for steak. They ran out of Porterhouse, ran out of NY Strip, said they only had Ribeye and Filet left. Ribeye was good. Got the Shrimp Diavolo pasta as well but it was completely bland. I had to double check that I didn't have Covid and lost my taste. A total waste of money. Waited 20 minutes before they told us they were out of the Porterhouse. Waitress was pretty good. Not a good value for the price on this visit.

AVOID THIS SPOT FOR FOOD. Tried this place for the first time for date night. Later that night we were vomiting and had stomach pains the whole night into the next day. The meats had a undercooked taste to it .Total experience was awful and wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone.
