My three year old and I went to have lunch. We received our food and I ate half and she had one bite of hers. She then told me she had to use the restroom and when we came back our meals were gone and table cleaned off. I told one of the girls that were taking orders at the the counter saying our food had been thrown away and table cleaned by mistake. She completely understood and our orders and drinks were remade after only waiting a couple of minutes. They also threw in a cookie for my daughter. Thank you McAllisters for realizing the mistake and correcting it in a quick manner. 10/10 Definitely recommend.
The last few times we have been here, the staff has been extremely unprofessional. They are constantly out of things which, is understandable with the economy, but they just substitute without asking or many times food items are forgotten all together. One time they handed me a small (kids size cup ) when I ordered a regular tea. I asked if they were out of cups, so the cashier looked at another cashier and they kind of laughed … then she got a regular size cup for my drink (ok?). My daughter and I got there right when they opened a few months ago. We ordered two sandwiches and two chips. However , we waited from 10:30ish after ordering until 11:45 to get our food! We were told they took several online orders before us. They gave us a cookie for our time ? at 11:15 I asked an employee walking around and goofing off if he could check on our order, but he never came back.Last year they messed my order up 3 times so they sent me a VIP meal voucher in the mail. It was a letter with the info on what we would receive and the signature of the manager. It was just the letter , no cards or coupons. I called and said that we didn’t receive any coupons it’s just a letter and she said that’s fine, that’s all we would need. I went in to use it yesterday and of course they said I can’t use it. The supervisor never apologized about the error on their part just said that there’s nothing they can do for me and that employee doesn’t with there anymore. Then she went back to the kitchen area and was telling the staff while they were laughing and smiling about it. She said that she didn’t care if I called corporate ,but nothing she could do for me so I guess that’s my next step.
Friendly service and the food is good! Lately, they’ve been out of a lot of their food items (spuds and the Cinnabon cookies). If they ever bring those Cinnabon cookies back- they are a MUST try.
Yesterday we went to eat here with another couple. Food was absolutely terrible. Soup wasn't even warm. The roast beef was more fat than beef. Baked potatoe was liked it had been re-warmed several times. It was dried out. After spending close to $60 on the food very! Bad! Experience. Please don't blame it on covid-19.I can say the employees were very nice! Get some new cooks or retrain.
Order 3 times past month for family. Each time something was left out of my take home order for my family. Also a woman pointed out a staff behind the door standing picking his nose in kitchen for us all to see. A front person had to tell him to stop. First order we get home and our 10 dollar nachos are not in there. Second time we get home and no pickles. Third time we figure there is no way it will happen again but our club only had a half a sandwich and I asked for extra mustard on a New Yorker and got no mustard. Will not be wasting my money here again.
I shouldn't know when we got in there and the lady told me to try to find a table that was clean that we were in trouble. My daughter ordered a bread bowl and when she got it it had mildew on it and had to send that back. The salad that I got was covered in cheese to hide the fact that the lettuce was all wilted And brown.. I usually love mcalister but I will not go back to this whenever again
the food was okay, place an online order for curbside pickup weighted at the curbside for 30 minutes before going into retrieve the food myself waited another 15 minutes for the staff to acknowledge customers being in line so by the time I got my food it was cold
I know times are bad right now and people don't want to work but you have to try harder if you want to stay in business. Stopped for lunch on Saturday. It wasn't very crowded but there was not even one clean table. Someone had taken the time to stack the dishes at every table but didn't pick them up. While I was eating, someone came around and picked up the dirty dishes but didn't wipe down any tables. The potato soup which is usually delicious was watery and no flavor. Not the same restaurant it used to be and don't think I will be going back any time soon.
The food is always delicious and the restaurant is always clean. Was a little disappointed that the online menu options didn't seem to match what was actually available even though I put in the location, but I also think our cashier might have been newer. We love the kid's meals because the apple juice and apple sauce are great brands. I got some awesome fresh fruit as a side too, and my daughter ate most of it.
Every time we come here the food is always perfect and prepared correctly....but somehow the order is always incorrect and I have to ask for it to be corrected again and again and again. It is not a special order or anything extraordinary, it's a minor change like no tomatoes or avocado on the side but somehow always incorrect. Frustrating.
