Love this spot in town. Great Chinese food with consistent quality every visit. Very accommodating to adjustment to their dishes.
China houses fried rice is way better, but they were closed today. Also, I asked them for only green onions in my rice and they put everything. If I’m paying for something make it the way I ask. Will never come back here.
A bit pricey, though we did get a lot of food. When you consider it made 2 meals not so bad. Courteous staff and fast service. I will eat from here again.
Used to go there all the time have spent so much money with them. At least $60 a week for the last I don’t know two or three years that I’ve lived in valpo but this will be the last time I ever give them a penny. The last time I ordered food from them it wasn’t a very big order like I usually order but nonetheless they messed it up so I called in which I have never done before and told them my food was messed up they said no problem we will credit. So when Time came for the credit they informed me that I was supposed to bring the disgusting food they got thrown in the garbage at work back and refuse to honor their credit I then said that’s fine I won’t be coming back how do you spell entirely too much money with Your establishment For you to not be able to simply fix my order they then proceeded to tell me they did not mind losing my business
Ordered sweet and sour shrimp. It looked like 5 onion rings with a cup of sweet and sour sauce. It did not taste good. I don't understand this and will not order again.
I ordered sweet and sour shrimp and it was the worst Chinese meal I've ever had. I was given a spoon fool of fried rice and 6 shrimp that had an inch thick of breading on them and the shrimp were dry as hell.
I thought I remembered this being good.... Was really sad tonight. Almost flavorless hot & sour soup (!), 80% (uncooked)onions vs beef in the Mongolian beef & zip recruiter fortune cookie ads ...might give a second chance as they were very nice & very busy.
Excellent good, excellent service. I've been going here off and on for years. Make sure to try the duck! And the tea!
All of my experiences were delicious.Especially the soup.
Soup was good. Ordered chow mein and all they gave me was veggies and no pan fried noodles like it is supposed to be. Only got the noodles that were supposed to go into the soup. Pretty disappointing.
