Really great menu. Everything I would ask for in a place like this. My husband ordered a burger. Pretty good he said. Fries were really good. Kids had chicken tenders ( amazing) and grilled cheese ( okay). I had the chicken lettuce wraps. I'm so happy they offered this sort of meal. The only complaint I would have is that the chili was mediocre. Kinda mushy. I wouldn't ordered that again, but very happy with all the rest! Great decor as well. We would revisit next time in town!
Burgers were really watery and rare. Not very good. Here's a pink piece of paper to compare the color, although it was hard to capture it in the dim lighting. I ordered a medium. Waitress was nice but after hearing the complaint from me about how rare the meat was, I overheard her tell all thd other customers behind me how the way they cooked it here was more rare than anywhere else and explained how ordering medium comes out pink/rare. That would be been nice to know before ordering.
Ordered burgers medium, came out rare. Was told their medium is really really pink...ok... All burgers were watery and really greasy almost 100% sure they are using patties that are frozen at some point in time and then thawed before grilled. The freezing process will cause meat to come out watery after cooking. I straight up had to wrap my burger in a napkin just to eat it.4.5 stars? You people in this city must have had to choose from this or the butcher's junk tray and then just gave up. Wendy's is a better choice by far.4 people, $84?!?!Pathetic.
First time going to Burger Haus in a while. Still very good. Service was great and the food was excellent. I definitely will be back.
We were in Valparaiso for a couple of hours and decided to dine at this place. We loved the presentation of the dishes. My husband got chili with fries and I got fish-cod and fries. Dishes were delicious. Waitress was attentive. Prices were great. We appreciated that the waiters wore masks. We thought it was a fancier place this is more like a sports bar.
Fish & fries, spinach artichoke dip with pita chips, And Cozumel burger with southwest coleslaw. 1st time here. Food was good, service good. All around everything was great. Oh ya.. and Valpo Velvet ice cream for dessert.
Did carryout and it was good, no mistakes and lots of ketchup packets. Burgers were tasty, sweet potato fries were a tad soft and limp but I like them crispy.

We enjoyed a mid afternoon meal today. The onion rings were wonderful—nice and hot. The burgers were extremely tasty. I normally prefer skinny fries but these were quite delicious. Service was great. Knowledgeable lady waited on us. First time here, but not the last!
I've been an infrequent but long time visitor of burger haus until this past year when I started coming once a week or so. The staff is amazing and friendly, and manager Jake gets a special shout out! He's great with staff and costumers, super knowledgeable, and goes the extra mile for exceptional service! This place is very well run, so much so that this is the first review I've ever posted!
