Excellent coffee, imaginative specials, and extremely fair prices!However the employees often on the register are unfriendly, standoffish, and are hard pressed to return a simple "hello."Perhaps order through door dash if you want to try them.
Honestly the best place to study in Valparaiso. There’s not a lot of seats but when I’m there, there’s always one open just for me! It’s warm, the baristas are nice and there’s no pressure to leave. There’s a variety of outlets and a bathroom. The only complaint is it is quite cramped, but if you want that local, cozy vibe, this is the place!! I stay here for hours and never wanna leave : ) the coffee is great and I have absolutely no complaint with the food. Everything about this place feels like some home cooking and I love that vibe. I’m writing this to compliment this place(just don’t steal my spot ; D)
Love everything about it - great atmosphere, coffee, Chai, sandwiches, and deserts. Looking forward to coming back to try it all.
My absolute favorite cafe in town. I love Uptown and Fluid too, but this place absolutely SERVES in the food department. Every food item I have had from this place has been absolutely wonderful. Their roasted veggie/portabella and goat cheese sandwich has to be one of my favorite sandwiches in town. You just HAVE to try it! Their broccoli and cheddar quiche (not pictured) was the first one I ever had and it was spectacular as well. Additionally, I have had their nutella streudel (which was basically a nutella pop-tart but with puff pastry) and it was absolutely divine. The coffee is pretty good as well and they a good variety of syrup flavors to choose from (my favorite is the Torani sugar free caramel :) ). This is absolutely one of my go-to places in Valpo and heavily recommended for anyone who visits (not to mention it's right downtown too!).
Excellent coffee. Went to grab a drink here with my mother and she got a slice of banana cream pie which was also delicious. I didn't try any of the signature drinks yet but just off sampling their medium and dark roasts I was very impressed. Good quality for sure. if you're an old school coffee fan who just appreciates a good medium roast then give this place a shot

Fantastic café! House made goodies every day, house tea blends and fine roasted coffees and unique coffee beverages. They help foster local artists and groups, it's a cozy, laid back atmosphere, perfect for study groups, casual business meetings, small church studies. Right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to parks and beautiful places to walk and enjoy both nature and the city.
Very enjoyable place to have a cup of special or regular coffee and tea. Some of the best pies and sweets around town. This place is a very calming atmosphere. Do your homework or just a conversation. Don't miss this time together.
I've been coming here on and off for the past decade. Overall cozy and mellow atmosphere. Baked goods are always excellent and they have a great drink selection. 4 stars rather than 5 due to the quality of sandwiches being hit or miss.
