We treated ourselves to the chips and white queso appitizer which was yummy. For our entrees I tried the new bowl meals...I wanted to try all of them. It's hard to know which one to choose, I ordered the chrispy orange chicken for the first time and it was delicious. It was very filling and the breaded chicken pieces WERE chrispy! Hubby ordered a steak and was equally pleased with that as well. As we ate it got really crowded in the restaurant and it was still early for dinner. Do yourself a favor and take a ride soon. You won't be sorry.
Well it was an interesting experience. First the waitress was super nice no complaints at all . I ordered the ribs and when they came out they were so old and dry you couldn’t even bite them . I wasn’t going to say anything until I seen a bunch of hair under the bbq sauce . The waitress was nice and apologetic I got a new order and went with the fish and chips and to my surprise the fish was still frozen . The manager apologized and was willing to get me something else but by this time I drank about 8 waters and was ready to go . My wife’s meal was good she enjoyed it . It’s time for some new cooks at this location.
Phenomenal service last night. Just like everytime I've been in there. Every time we sit in the bar we always have Tim. I wonder how he hasn't become management yet. Keep up the good work!
Always a great experience. Pay attention to some menu deals and you can get pretty good bang for your buck. Pretzel bread sticks with beer cheese are awesome.
2 for $29.00 special’s had 4 excellent selections…Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, along with Broccoli Chicken Alfredo were excellent tasting and portion size was plentiful. The Valparasio Applebee’s has been a longtime favorite and continues to serve its exceptional food and provide prompt and courteous service.
Arrived at 2, told to wait in car until they called us. Was seated , given 1 menu for table. Hard for both of us to look way seated, asked for another, told oh because covid , we are giving only one. Server then says I am going to get you another server because this hasn’t gone well. Really, instead of just getting another menu, they get another server, who was very nice. We just drive hours to get to Indiana , this was not best place to stop.
Good food. Reasonable prices. Minimal COVID safety in place.

Great food! I had a salad the wife enjoyed a Mexican dish grandson had a corn dog. We like the variety great food at a reasonable price!
Food was great! We did have some issues with our bill because we got double charged for ours and someone else's bill and ours was alot cheaper, but the waitress was young and new and very sweet and prompt , just lucky we had the extra money! We normally go to portage applebees and have no issues, but all in all it was good food and great service, unfortunately probably won't be returning to his location.
