This is really a 3.5 star rating (there isn't a half star option, so I rounded up). We stop here sometimes for a quick dinner if we don't feel like dealing with preparing food at home. I like the Chile Rellenos, especially when they are freshly prepared (definitely 4+ star). It may be best to order during peak meal times to get them freshly prepared.

They accommodated our family after a funeral service in the back room. They were courteous and professional as they took our orders and served us late. The food came out hot and flavorful! The servers were able to keep the orders straight even though there was 20+ of us and we decided to eat here without notice to the restaurant. I highly recommend the wait and kitchen staff at Real Hacienda!
Nice, cozy little restaurant. The food was ready on arrival, just had to wait a minute for the fresh beverage. Little confusing as to where the entrance was though. Turns out it's actually the side door.
Best Mexican food we have had in a while. Our waiter was very attentive, and we never ran out of chips, salsa, or drinks. We will definitely return.
Service was awful. As soon as we got our food, we didn’t see our waiter until we had left to pay. Wasn’t able to get a box for a burrito the size of my forearm, the Burrito Gigante. So I was forced to leave 75% of it on the table. I wouldn’t waste my time going back.
My family (about 30 of us) surprised this restaurant without much warning after a funeral and they were able to quickly accommodate us. They handed our big group so well with quick and friendly service. The food was very good and such big servings for a good price. Everyone left happy and full!
This is a great place for a lovely meal in Terre Haute. Food is amazing, staff attentive, and prices reasonable. Do not miss!
Good service, reasonable prices, American/Mexican menu, large portions, good flavor. Great week night or date night restaurant for casual dining.
