We arrived late Sunday morning with the restaurant near capacity. The staff efficiently seated us and took our order.The menu offers an expansive selection of reasonably priced food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered from both the breakfast and lunch sections of the menu. The food was tasty and was promptly delivered. Our server was very attentive to our enjoyment and extra requests.
My sister-in-law and her husband live in Terre Haute and frequent NEW DAY CAFE almost weekly. We live about 100 miles away from them. They wanted us to experience not just the OUTSTANDING FOOD but SERVICE as well! So, we had lunch there and had ONE OF THE BEST LUNCHEON EXPERIENCES in a long time! =)NEW DAY CAFE employs VERY DILIGENT folks who, from the moment you enter, treat you like family! The owners are always present and ALWAYS INVOLVED with the customers!There is a WIDE VARIETY of choices on the menu with VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE SERVERS who CHECK-IN with you should you need anything at any time!The food portions are TREMENDOUS; the prices are EXTREMELY REASONABLE, and the atmosphere is VERY COMFORTABLE!We had VERY LITTLE WAIT TIME getting our order for the FOUR of us!Now, every time we visit family in Terre Haute, NEW DAY CAFE is our FIRST CHOICE for getting something to eat!THANK YOU to the OWNERS for YOUR HARD WORK ETHIC and INTEGRITY!You model what you expect from your employees, and IT SHOWS!!!You could TEACH A CLASS on how to treat people!!!Keep up the GREAT JOB for the rest of us - you ALL ARE APPRECIATED!!!=)
The food was really good both times this week. Had not been in there before these.The onion rings are delicious. The hamburgers are great. The double is good size and tasty. The mushroom soup was very good. The club sandwich was also yummy. Pork chops were good too.Restrooms were clean. Waitresses were all very nice.
My meal was good. Plenty of country gravy all over my biscuits. The hashbrowns cooked just right. Restaurant was clean, service was good. Overall a good experience.
Excellent service, not super busy around 11:45am. Food was great! Home style cooking with a small town feel.
one of best locally owned restaurants in the Terre Haute area just off Interstate 70 and 3rd St. The place is always clean, the servers always friendly and helpful and best of all the food is absolutely great and healthy no matter what you choose.
I have never had a bad meal here! Everyone is always so nice and the food is great! I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner!
Great service, and home cooked food! Biscuits n Gravy were the bomb! Large portions and served fast. Great meal, will go again for sure!
