If your in terre haute for anything, eat here! We were in town for college orientation and picked a random dot on the restaurant map. What luck, this place is awesome!!! Had the brisket Mac and cheese paired with a Long Island. Yum!!! So much food, you will need a togo box.
Service was fine but the food was not good. We tried several things. This was our first time there while traveling through. Kids pizza was like cardboard, rye bread for the Ruben was good but overall, the sandwich was not good. Beer selection was just ok. Husbands sandwich was not very good either. Do not recommend… try somewhere else. They only got 2 stars because the service was not terrible.
Great service, excellent meal and the ambiance can’t be beat! Food was even better than expected, hot, well flavored and fresh. The chicken strips are phenomenal!! The steamed, fresh vegetables have a flavor that you can’t resist (and can’t replicate at home, so get extra for tomorrow’s leftovers)
LOVE! I was alone, and the best seat on the patio, beautiful night, great service and food! Super great server who made me feel welcome, the veg/black bean burger was outstanding! (and huge!) I was taking pictures and sending them to my husband, wishing he could be with me enjoying the wine. LOVE that place and looking forward to my next stop there!
And that's where the superlatives ended. My wife & I have chosen M Moggers as a lunch stop on our way travels across I-70 three times now in the last few years, and the food quality has declined over that time. The interior decor is always revealing another quirky detail that makes the restaurant & bar a unique public environment. On this visit we were very pleased with the service that Hailey H provided, especially her attention to health protocols & her friendly but not intrusive manner. But while the serving sizes remain very large, the quality of the ingredients has become disappointing. Maybe this is influenced by shortages in the commercial food supply chain, but the quirk & customer service have become for us the only attractions to an otherwise average dining experience.
