Great food and service! Was not disappointed!
They did not fill my order completely and overcharged me for what I did get. I was not impressed with the flavor of the food once I got home. I realize that they were busy, but they don’t seem to care about the customer’s experience. It is like they have a “take it or leave it attitude”. They certainly don’t go out of their way to satisfy the customer. I won’t be back!!!
We have been eating at this restaurant for years. We’ve always been very satisfied with the service and the food. However, last Sunday we went (party of 4) and the service was TERRIBLE.I will take a little bit of the blame because we are accustomed to going on Friday or Saturday for dinner, and have never been on a Sunday before. We did not realize that they close at 9:00 on Sunday and we arrived at 8:00 PM. But what made me so upset is that one of the female servers was sweeping (and sweeping very hard and very fast) right in our direction as we tried to enjoy our dinner. She was pushing debris right towards our table. *We were seated right next to the cash register. And as if that was not bad enough, she also mopped the floor, including right in front of the cash register where folks are expected to go and pay their bill. Despite the very slow service, we still were going to manage to get out of the restaurant before they closed, if she had NOT mopped the floor while we were still sitting at the table.My youngest son has had 8 knee surgeries, my oldest son had a knee surgery and my husband has had a knee surgery, so we were not about to leave the table and cross a wet floor just to get out of their way by 9:00. We waited until the floor dried before we left, and still managed to get out by 9:10.I completely understand they want to get their side work done and clock out and go home. But for the love of God, customer satisfaction and customer safety should ALWAYS take precedence. I thought it was extremely rude of this girl to be sweeping debris in our direction and mopping so that we could not safely stand up. We could handle the slow service but I felt she was trying to send us a message “You came late and we want to go home…..get out!”Another thing is that my husband ordered a steak dinner and asked for “red potatoes” with his steak and they brought him flimsy, cold French fries. He said something and asked for his red potatoes that he ordered and shortly after they brought him some “white potato fries” which was still not what he ordered and paid for. But he is not one to complain so he kept them. I tasted them and they were awful. They were under cooked and flavor-less!There are a ton of Mexican restaurants in Terre Haute. We live clear down south, by Regional Hospital. We could go anywhere we please, but we always drove out of our way to eat here, but it was the LAST TIIME we eat here. I’m done.I was a restaurant owner years ago, and I can tell you this is no way to treat your customers. I have also worked at Olive Garden as a server and as a hostess so I know a thing or two about restaurant and hospitality.Final thought: Very disappointing.
Such great food, excellent service, I cannot stop coming to this place! Delicious shrimp and mango salsa, with mojito's have me coming back for more!❤️
Best Mexican Restaurant in Terre Haute.... So far. My husband and I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The service is always friendly and the food is delicious.
Very slow especially when it comes to their door dash orders. Doordash orders are important too as our your dashers who take the time to deliver your food.
the order on my ticket was not what I ordered which made a $4 difference my bill. No big deal accidents happen, but when I went up front to pay I let them know that wasn't supposed to be my charge they argued with me I went ahead and paid it and said i won't be back. His response back was, 'that's okay I have lots of customers'. I just stated a fact and with that attitude and response I got was SAD. I realize how busy the restaurant staff in general is treated and I respect everyone but you know about this type of behavior I won't help support.
First time ever eating there and it was good food service was out of this world I think I will go back next time I'm in town
I had their chicken and beef fajitas and they tasted awesome! Great portion of food...plenty for at least one more meal!! Fast and friendly service!!! The restaurant was very clean and so was the staff!!!!
I ordered take-out. The food is good. But I like other Mexican restaurants' taco and quesadilla since they are crispier.
