The Breakfast Burger was one of the very best brunch entrees I've ever eaten! Pass on the Strawberry Bubble Waffle unless you're looking for simpler, muted flavors.The three berry scone was also superb, and the Golden Day Latte was really spicy with a lot of tumeric. Would absolutely go again -- but no waffle, next time. :)
We celebrated our 30th anniversary tonight. The food was excellent. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I'm a self proclaimed "Foodie" and it was on par with New York's finest. Then, the service! Exceptional! Patty anticipated our every need and took better care of us than any place I have ever been. The finest - we will be back.

I have enjoyed all the delicious items I have tried, especially the scones. The chicken salad and to go food items have all been delicious. Loved the azalea cake and peanut butter pieI purchased recently. Thanks for the wonderful bread! Just want say that I highly recommend your business!
Ordered Hot chocolate, Earl Grey Vanilla tea and also got breakfast sandwich. All were perfectly done! Hope standard remains consistent. Most places go downhill after a while. Time will tell but for now food and service was great!

The flavor combinations in the espresso drinks are perfect and customizable! I love the seasonal drinks as well. This is the only coffee shop I've gotten espresso drinks from that I can actually drink the whole thing because it tastes delicious from start to finish!! Thank you Federal!
** To start, I will admit that this rating is unfair as I did not actually eat here **We were super excited to try this place given the reputation and our past experiences with the owners. They catered our wedding and we have had food from the owners multiple other times and enjoyed it.That said, as vegetarians, we were extremely disappointed with the lunch menu options on the day we tried to eat here. Owned by one of the best trained and most sophisticated chefs in the region, we were expecting options that were more accessible to vegetarian diets.To be fair, I believe the menu did have 1-2 options that we could have had. My guess is that it is just not smart economically for them to prepare dishes that might be limited to a small group. And maybe our expectations were too high as well given how much we enjoyed this chef’s food in the past.
Great latte (got an extra shot), several gluten free options, great staff. Coffee shop on one side, cafe on the other. Downtown buildings are historic and beautiful. Worth the drive off the interstate.
