Was so disappointed we could not stop here. For some reason they let cars park in the RV Parking area. It’s was full of cars and one camper. Really people there was plenty car parking that’s just pure laziness.FYI, access road is horrible would not recommend
Simple food order took 45 minutes. Order of over easy eggs with bacon came out as hard cooked eggs with no bacon. Daughter’s gravy was barely warm. No napkins and a basket of communal utensils. Never saw our server for refills on drinks or to even ask how our meal was.
My husband and I went in tonight with a craving for breakfast. Our server was Alec (1992638), he was AWESOME!!!! His energy was a blessing! He was efficient, timely, pleasant, and gave great customer service. We always tip well and it was on our heart to give extra today. Alec was SOOOO appreciative. He stated we had given him the biggest tip he had all day and had been working all day (we got there about 6:30pm). Alec stated he was having a baby in 3 weeks and has been working every day to prepare for his child's arrival as well as going to school (a college student). He thanked us several times however we were VERY thankful to have him as our server and RECOMMEND EVERYONE GO AND ASK FOR ALEC!! Alec brought me to tears because you never know how much something we may think is so small can change a person's day/life. It was a blessing to bless him. Before we left God put it on us to give him an extra tip on top of what we did. It filled our heart and I pray that God continues to over Alec and his family. You know you're going to get good food at Cracker Barrel (I've never been disappointed) however you never know and this is with anywhere what time of service you're going to get and Alec gave 10 star service today!!!! Thank you Alec!!!
We thought we were going during a slow time, but it was packed. We were told "15-minute wait," but were seated in 4 minutes. The food was hot and tasty; the service was friendly and attentive; the prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that I didn't care for the orange mimosa - it had a bitter-sour taste. Otherwise, the experience was delightful and refreshing after being cooped up all week.
My experience here was delightful. We were quickly seated and waited on by our friendly waitress. The decor is "old time" charm. We received our food and drinks in a very timely manner, and it was hot, fresh, and delicious. The Country Store is always enjoyable because of the unique items they have there.
Great restaurant. We did online checkin before we left the house. We were seated in about 2 min after we got there. The service was great. Orders came out accurate and hot. There is nothing bad about the service or food. The taste was fresh. Everyone appeared to be enjoying their meals as well. I highly recommend this spot.
Dining in at this location had to be the worst Cracker Barrel experience ever.I’ve traveled across the nation and visited multiple Cracker Barrel throughout my travels. After placing my order my waiter brought my meal to me and just sat it on the edge of the table as if he didn’t want to serve my meal to me. He or she ( not quite sure but either way) never refilled my drink, didn’t offer any condiments for my sides. I ended up getter better service from another server that was working with other guest which I ended up tipping him instead. Once I went to the register to pay for my food the cashier walked away as if I wasn’t there. The cashier that was working next to her had other guest in front of her but once the other cashier returned she asked her to help me by checking me. I paid for my food and brought additional clothing from the store. She didn’t give me a receipt nor did she offered to put my items in a bag. I asked her for a bag and she balled my items up and threw them in the bag. I know that there aren’t many minorities in Terre Haute but I felt as if I was not welcomed at all. I don’t recommend this place to anyone that’s of a minority race. It was the worst experience ever. Good luck to this location. My experience was piercing and not delightful at all.
Me and my wife have gone here for years and it's been a tradition for awhile. I've never been disappointed coming to cracker barrel! There's always huge smiles and a warm atmosphere!
We had a very good breakfast...Food was all delicious! Service was very good Waitress was excellent...
Don't stop here..!First problem I had at this location was just pulling in.The driveway about ripped the suspension out of my vehicle.I intentionally waited till 7:30 to go so the food would still be fresh but the crowd thin.A young man waited on me while picking at his beard.Mashed potatoes were dark and stiff. Okra was old and hard. Hamburger steak was a hamburger patty cooked dry about 1/4 inch thick, no onions or gray, just a plain, small patty,, broke in two with so much salt I would have had a heart attack or stroke if I ate it...I walked out..!Went to the Cracker Barrel down the road in Illinois..World of difference, Like Night and Day..!
