One of the few places I know that has Monte Christo sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. Hubby had chicken and shrimp with cheesy broccoli. It was good as well. We both ate for less than $40 and I even got a drink called painkiller. Which was really good too.

Excellent Food and service first time and was great

We got in and seated very quickly. It took us an hour to get our food after we ordered it though. We also had to flag down the waiter to get a refill on our drinks while we were waiting. We requested plates for the rolls but those never came. We also requested a to-go box, but the waiter forgot and brought it about 20 minutes later. The food is okay. Pretty decent portion for the price. No complaints there. Overall it was an okay experience but the waiter was not the best. Decent food for a decent price. The three of us ate for $50. So that is not bad.

Had a great time food was amazing service was good but could have been friendlier but all in all it was worth the drive

We don't have any desire to go to another Cheddars. The restaurant was stunning. It was clean and very tastefully designed. My husband and I's expectations of the food were high given the menu prices and elegance of the building. Our order consisted of a steak with mashed potatoes, cheddar fries, and a chicken sandwich. The mashed potatoes were inedible. Even our child refused to eat them. The steak wasn't bad. It was cooked as I requested and not a bad cut of beef.My husband's chicken sandwich was also inedible. He NEVER sends food back but did so in this instance. The chicken was rubbery as though it'd been frozen, he only took one bite. His replacement meal was good and he was content at that point. Our server was wonderful. He was a very nice man, professional, and efficient at his job. There was a group of people sitting behind us that really dampened our visit. They were drinking, I believe and were incredibly obnoxious and loud.Very unpleasant experience. It's a shame given how much we paid and the time we spent to come here. We are a young couple, looks like the years to follow our money will be spent elsewhere.

Pros:- Our server was very nice.- Food was great.Cons:- Prices are a little too much for the portions.- The rice that seemed to be microwaved.Summary:Not complaining but might try a different place next time. Thanks.

Staff was friendly and food arrived quickly. My salad arrived before my meal which is always a huge plus for me. There was a wait but it wasnt long. The portions were quite large which made the price worth it. (Previous review)Visited on a Saturday, service was somewhat slow and some food arrived clearly having been kept warm for quite some time. They still usually do well therefore keeping it at 3 stars for now

Second time at a Cheddars. First time was in Bowling Green KY and it was late on a Sunday night and food availability was limited. So we couldn't hold that against them. We decided to stop in Terre Haute for lunch on a Sunday at noon. Definitely a top notch franchise here. Menu had many great options. Food came to us hot and delicious. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was due to two things-- first, our waitress in the bar area kept telling us how overworked she was and at times totally disappeared, and two, no one among restaurant staff had a smile. They were all stone faced. Otherwise, it was a very good lunch.

My wife and I go here 1 to 3 times a week. I have tried most everything on the menu and liked it all. Get the broccoli cheese casserole as a side. You will not be disappointed. Service is great too. Nice atmosphere in dining area to have a relaxing conversation. Enjoy your visit.

I had been to one other Cheddar's several years ago and I thought we'd stop at this one because there isn't one around our house. I thought the helpings were large for the price, which was good. I had the chicken fried steak and it was very tasty, my wife had some sort of chicken wrap, which she liked. It was about twice as much as she'd expected, so I think we took 3/4 home. The wait wasn't too long and the server recommended the broccoli cheese casserole as a side for my wife and she enjoyed that.
