Great local pub, great prices/portionsMust be 21 or older to enter which I absolutely love. I went with my wife and we got alcoholic drinks, and food for 30 dollars. Highly recommend to anyone who likes to have a good time. We came on a Friday night at 6pm, and got out by 7pm, which was when the live music was starting.
We were there for the Drag Show. They were packed. Got there hour and half early, the patio where the show was being held, was standing room only.The employees were great! The food was good. Amazing atmosphere! Great time.
I've always loved Charlie's. The food is always so good but lately the service has not been the greatest. I understand it can get very busy at times but it seems like there is no structure. The last few times we have came we waited over 20 minutes just to be greeted. I understand craziness. A simple "Hey welcome in, were a little busy right now, please be patient" would be nice. Just having a drink while waiting would have been better.
Service has been extremely slow the last 6 months. We've waited upwards of 20min just for drinks before. If you sit outside (even with other tables out there) expect to wait 10 minutes before anyone checks on you.Last time we went, we waited 15 minutes before being waited on. we ordered drinks, appetizers, and our meals because we figured it would be awhile before we see our waitress again. We were right. When we eventually got our meals, my burger was completely wrong. My girlfriend ate her entire meal before our waitress came to check on us after we got our food, and I told her my burger was wrong. They got my corrected burger out in just a few minutes.
Excellent service. Very friendly. We had at least three different people come by and offer to fill drinks, or see if we needed anything. The Tweety burger and fries were very good. The person I was with said the chicken wrap was excellent. The place was packed, but still had room. This was a very nice, clean place to eat. I don't think kids are allowed because both entrances say "Must be 21 to enter". I could be completely wrong on this one though.
We frequent Charlie's - probably avg once a week throughout the year (miss a week here and there, but have other weeks where it's 2-3 times/week). It is comfortable, affordable and just a fun place to hang out, eat great food and enjoy adult beverages with friends!
Been going to this great neighborhood bar for over 55 years! It has survived several owners over that time and expanded, including a great outdoor venue. The food has always been fabulous and the service just as good!! Fun fact....my mother-in-law helped to create the Tweety Burger!!
Friendly servers. All worked to make out Tim we pleasurable. Food and drinks were excellent as usual.
Great entertainment and good food. Always a fun time. Food is great. A little better than normal bar food. Inviting atmosphere. Food is fresh and hot. Service is fantastic. Definitely worth stopping in.
A hidden gem of a place, locals treasure! Service staff was attentive and friendly. Food was served hot and it was very tasty. Priced conservatively and you better bring an appetite as the portions are generous. We will be back!
