Food, drinks, and service all superb at one of the best sushi restaurants in the area.Woochi is one of the better mid- to high-end restaurants for our area, and one of the best for sushi. We tried new rolls and new additions to the menu to be adventurous, which led to some great and some 'just ok' rolls. For starters, we had the Edamame and the Ki-Ki Roll. Both were amazing (so much that we didn't get pictures before they were devoured)! Our cocktails were the Hong Kong Iced Tea and an Old Fashioned. Both were exemplary. For our rolls, we selected the Volcano, Mango Madness, Snow White, and Red Dragon. The Volcano and Red Dragon were delicious. Each flavor enhanced the others, but stood out on its own enough to get each one on the palate... rice, fish, vegetable, and sauce all held their own.The Snow White and especially the Mango Madness were both crafted with excellent quality ingredients, but the flavors were muddled and almost over powered by the mango. On the one hand, it is called Mango Madness for a reason. But on the other, it would have been more personally enjoyable to get each of the flavors more clearly.Despite my opinion on those two rolls, I would still heartily recommend Woochi and a new roll or two next time you're in the area and craving sushi. Our host and servers were attentive and friendly without hovering, the table and restaurant were clean and tastefully decorated, and it was a pleasure to dine there!

Friendly staff. Food is okay. I had the beef with garlic sauce. The beef was very chewy and ruined the dish. King Kong, lady gar gar and California rolls are good. Also the Kung pao shrimp and coconut shrimp are good.I would recommend any dish not containing beef.Resturant is need of a remodel. Chairs are very worn. Solid 3.8 stars.

Delicious! Such a beautiful atmosphere ad amazing foor. The service great and the fish was fresh! Drinks were strong too! Definitely will be back

So good and friendly staff. Went before a concert and everything came out promptly. Drinks are tasty

I travel extensively both domestic and international and very often eat sushi in my travels. This is an excellent restaurant, the fish was perfect temperature and ample portions for the price, rice balls were just right. Really great fresh tastes, not often that I find a restaurant this good.

My work brought me into to South Bend, I met with some family and friends and they all raved about woochi so we went. The food and atmosphere was spectacular I had the Mango Madness and King Kong. Both were VERY delicious and I would tell all the sushi chefs that personally. Why I rated Woochi in South Bend with two stars was because of our sever. I’m not sure if she was having an off night or if she always acts this way. Needless to say I never write reviews for any place but I feel the need to because of her. First she told us her name was Aimee and everything was fine since I’ve never been there I had questions about the menu. She seemed real impatient with me and honestly just bluntly rude. I had a lot of questions about the sushi because I’m allergic to a variety of vegetables. She made annoyed gestures towards me and even enough to catch the eye of the family and friends I was with. This was a busy night I believe for them but this was no excuse for the way this woman acted. I’ve been in the serving industry and not tipping is something I normally wouldn’t do. Trust me putting that tip in for her was definitely NOT deserved. After experiencing her we decided to part ways with Woochi.

Food was great. The sushi was delicious and Im not the biggest fan of sushi. Nice ambience. Service was really slow though.

Came in for my wife’s birthday while visiting South Bend IN…let’s start w our awesome server, Kate! Her smile, personality, and expertise was exponentially beyond expectations! My wife’s allergic to shellfish and we ordered a large sushi boat (“Ultimate” party platter on menu) and the team here was extremely vigilant to ensure her safety by separating the items she was allergic to...Drinks are clean, balanced, and worth the slightly higher price tag. I would highly recommend this place to anybody in South Bend looking for awesome sushi in a fantastic ambiance coupled with great drinks and desert! Thanks again, Kate!!!

Beautiful restaurant. Server was attentive and very nice. Soup, shrimp, and spring rolls were amazing. Everything else was horrible. Chicken had no seasoning and tasted like boiled chicken, very soft and bland. Also the portion of chicken was way too much. Rice and vegetables were not good. Vegetables had no seasoning and a very small amount of them. Fried rice did not taste good and was clumped together.

First time tried sushi and it was delicious. I liked the ambience. The staff was super helpful in recommending us dishes as it was our first time trying sushi.
