They have THE BEST GOULASH around. It's amazing!! Their burgers are good too but the goulash is the best. I believe they make it on Wednesday so you want to get it on Thursday if they have any left it goes fast. But it's so Amazing!!

The View I experienced was on the walk across the bridge, to this dive-y corner bar, seeing the "falls" lit up green prior to St. Paddy's. Not much of a view once there, of course it was evening, so who knows! There didn't appear to be any outdoor seating.I sat at the bar, where my next view was Twister on TV, which is A-OK with me!No NA beer option was pretty disappointing, but apparently par for the course in South Bend. After what seemed like an awfully long wait for a burger, considering the size of the crowd, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Homicide Burger, especially for the price! Nice spiciness from the jalapenos (canned, not fresh though) and pepper jack cheese with the smokiness of the bacon doin' it's thing. The fries were a perfect compliment; nice and crispy, not soggy. If I find myself in SB in the mood for a walk over the water, it would be worth another stop.

They call themselves a dive bar. And I think dive bar is being kind. I mean, if you're looking for a shot and a beer, you could do worse. But if you want a drink menu and ambiance, don't even consider this place.

Delicious little bar! Definitely a local hangout. Lunch time had a lot of workers come in to grab some food. I had one of the best burgers hands down anywhere.

Great burgers but bagged chips. Music was terrible. Paid the extra money for the is for the play next feature on the jukebox, but my songs never played. Soup was delicious.

The jalapeno popper grilled cheese sandwich is soo good, I highly recommend.

Dont let the dive bar look fool you. They make a Mean Burger!!! The waitress “buffaloheart” has an amazing energy!

Fabulous burger. Huge! Half the price of the competition across the street.

Always friendly and quick service. The sandwiches were deliscious! You are almost always guaranteed to meet friends there. The cocktails were spot on!

I stopped by for a late lunch after an event at the convention center. It’s definitely a local pub. A bit scuffed up. Not quite a dive bar. This place has soul. And a kick ass air conditioner on this high dew point hot afternoon. About 6 local day drinkers were on hand, and were friendly. I tried the goulash based on a review here. It was delicious with big chunks of white potato and beef. The Hungarian broth had a slight spice to it. Despite the large portion, I ordered a burger too. The burger and bun were fresh and flavorful. Washed down with a couple of tap beers. I ate at the barThe bartender was very nice and attentive. I’m glad I stopped here, and will stop here again when I am in South Bend.
