We had the pleasure of being served by the owner of this place who after charging us over $70 for four people to eat breakfast because she doesn’t take an order properly also spilling water on our table twice because she pours it from too high up so she’ll be back to get napkins because half of our table was covered in water when she was done the second time never comes back with napkins waited almost an hour for food they were not overly busy but they were decently busy then when I wanted to ask for a manager for the Bill that’s when I find out she’s the owner she wants to argue with me and then what type of owner of a business sits there and talks about customers to the next customer coming up what a complete joke she is as an owner of a business I will never be back
My boyfriend and I try to eat breakfast here every Sunday morning, we love this place. The owner Nancy and her staff are all great people and always welcoming. Our favorite thing on the menu is the country fried steak and it's always good! It usually gets pretty busy after 9 am and sometimes there's a pretty big line, so get here early if you're wanting to get right in for breakfast.
I'm just a delivery driver and haven't eaten here yet but I LOVE their decor! While I wait I've been reading this book they have on a shelf. Can't wait to try the food ...it's always packed!
They have decided to postpone on the table accusing people of not wanting to work to support their families instead of instead of acknowledging the fact that they need to pay more for good help. 0 out of 10 would not recommend
The food was fine, but there was a paper on the table as we were seated telling patrons that there was a longer than usual wait time "due to the shortage of people who were willing to work and provide for their families." Then immediately followed with a help wanted, as if that's the energy you need at a workplace? Really bad taste in our mouth the rest of the meal. Won't be back.
Got here 9a on a Saturday morning. There was about a 10 min wait, which went fast. Food came out quickly and was hot when it arrived. Server did a great job of keeping our drinks full. We'll definitely come back again!
Owner is also a server. If someone who owns is truly serve, and she was, then they get an A+ from my book. Especially cause she was so cute and kind.Food taste is 10/10. Atmosphere on a Saturday morning lunch time is 10/10. I'll come back next time I'm going out to eat around Notre Dame
Amazing staff! They were very busy and we had to wait but so worth it.
Only the best breakfast place in all of South Bend. Honestly I would go here for breakfast every day if I could afford it and that’s not saying the prices are high. The food is awesome and the staff are great. Really enjoy the atmosphere. Number one for sure in the breakfast category.
Any place that would put horseshit like this on every table rather than paying enough to keep employees doesn’t deserve the patronage of the community. The only reason we didn’t walk out after reading it was because my wife said we shouldn’t deprive the waitress of a tip just because her employer is contemptible.
