Amazing atmosphere and good drinks; however, this is was all overshadowed by the terrible service. We went as a party of six, one person in our group had to wait an hour for a drink!On top of that, we had to ask for our check 3 separate times which resulted in us waiting 30mins just to pay our bill so we could leave. And if that was not bad enough the staff had a attitude with us for being "inpatient".
At first it was a super nice bar. I love how it is designed. Our bartender when asked for the check, took 30 mins for us to be able to pay. When my friend asked the other bartender for the check she was super rude and got an attitude. When I asked for my check she said she was on her way to take a break and I distracted her from her break. It was so crazy to me. Like what we can't leave. It ended up being a bad night because how the staff acted towards us. When the manager came over. He did nothing except make excuses. Best part joke my one friend it took over an hour for her drink, which ended up being free but still. Horrible experience
Very cool atmosphere, dark, dim lighting and aroma of wood fire. Nicely decorated space and unique drink menu. I had the sneaky Pete complete with a roasted marshmallow on top.
I am not one to ever leave reviews for an establishment. But I feel it completely necessary to review The Exchange. What has happened to this place? This was one of my all-time favorite bars, I would regularly visit when I came home to see friends & family. In the past couple months I have tried coming here 3 times and it is night and day different. Service is inexcusably bad - the energy, the vibe, the entire bar is a shell of what it used to be. I asked someone working here where all the old bar staff was (all my familiar faces) and she almost bragged saying we are under new management. No bragging should be used when saying this. I am deeply saddened with the changes and the truly terrible service/knowledge/experience of this bar & it’s staff. After all my years of being a patron I will not be returning and if you, like myself, are remembering a bar of previous years, that is long gone. Don’t waste your time.
This place makes amazing Old Fashioneds! We love coming here to chill out and relax. Now, the last time I was here (about a month ago), they were severely short-staffed and service was slacking something horrible. I hope that they are getting more people to work here again, as it was a great place to go and hang out. I hope that they get more people working, or else it's not worth going.
Service was absolutely terrible. Slow and careless. And no food items were being served at all. At least that is what I was told, but I seen a guy at the bar with a plate of crackers. The excuse was "we weren't even supposed to be open today". My waitress was barely present, she also said she was new working there. I asked for the wifi password, she didn't know, the manager on duty didn't know, and they had to text their other manager for it. When I first asked for it, she said she'd go check, then went to sit down with an older guy sitting to have a 5-7 minute conversation with him. I never got the password. I sat with one drink for almost half hour (maybe more) with no check ins from the waitress. I eventually had to get up and walk to the bar to ask for my bill.
Atmosphere is cozy and elegant. Old fashioned’s were fantastic. Amazing full bar.
Loved the Jorneymens Rye! So good! The atmosphere or the place is very relaxed and classy.... cant wait to come again!
We went out first time last night to try new whiskeys. Titan and Ashley were amazing! They explained each whiskey and the flavorprofiles. The charcuterie plate was wonderful. Titan has us laughing and having a great time!
Superior selection of top shelf treasures. Excellent customer service. Great pens.
