Tiki Bar is awesome! Bartender Saturday night deserves a medal!!
I'd hoped for an improvement, but this place is as disappointing as it always was.The outside somehow looks tackier than before, the inside looks pretty similar, but with the mistaken impression that it's by a lake or the sea.The restroom gave me the impression that their decorator watched a couple episodes of Fixer Upper. It is, by far, the most inviting part of the restaurant, but it is single occupancy, right by the entrance, and there is nothing to indicate that it is a restroom except a vintage photo of some ladies at the beach.The food *looked* good, but tasted pretty ordinary. It wasn't bad, but there wasn't enough sauce on my tiki burger to give it much flavor and the smash burger... wasn't smashed.The one exception is the sweet potato fries. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. A triumph of texture and taste.I did not try the rootbeer float, but I did see that they use Triple X root beer, so surely it is worth having.This place isn't horrible and the prices are pretty decent in this economy. But, if you're going to spend the money, I'd urge you to try out Vinyl Tap for a truly delicious experience.
Last summer we always had a great time! The girl upstairs always was attentive, we never had to ask or wait for another cocktail..we were fortunate to have her wait on us once this season. The last two times the service was extremely horrible...as much as we enjoyed the food, we will not be back and will not recommend this restaurant to any of our friends.
The taste and quality of the food is no where near worth the prices. I could have gotten better food at Hardee's. This was our first trip there. It was me and my kids. Walked in and asked if we seat ourselves. Was told yes, sit *anywhere*. We sit down and then two employees tell me we can't sit at that booth because it's in the bar area. Then why tell me we can sit anywhere? My children are 7 and 8, very hard to miss them. There's nothing letting customers know it's a bar area. There's nothing letting customers know children can't sit in that particular area. The only good thing about the visit was the food came out quick. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
The food was just ok. I expect more from a place owned by Navarre. Our pimento/beer cheese dip was alright. My fish tacos tasted like they were made with the fish from fish sticks. The salad was OK, and the pasta is good and plentiful for $15 but nothing stellar. I also ordered a cup of clam chowder which was normal. I never went here when it was the Oaken Bucket so I can’t say if it has gone down or not but, overall, I won’t be back. There are better places to eat. Plus, our table was sticky when we sat down which I hate!
Girlfriend and I stopped in after a movie for an early dinner. Greeted promptly and seated quickly. Cool and comfy atmosphere. Service was fantastic. Cost was great, food was good but not excellent. Definitely going back.

The salmon is excellent I thought maybe the salad would come with the meal, but that’s separate it was also very good. Service was great too. First time back since it changed owners. The place looks great nice and clean. We’ll be back to try a lot of different things on the menu thank you.
Drinks were decent but food is subpar. I was disappointed. Maybe I'll try again if they get the menu sorted out or improved.
Not bad but the menu is a little bougie. Trying to be fancy then serve my burger in a basket. ? Terribly over priced as well.
