Always have a great time here! Great food and service. Don’t listen to the petty one that isn’t allowed back because she has harassed an employee made false reports and then tried to come to her place of employment to continue being petty. IMO makes it an even better place to go because the owner won’t allow it in her restaurant.
Their customer service isn’t great. There are so many other places in south bend worth your time and money.
This is the best version of Render yet. We have been eating here since it opened and find the new menu excellent--we tried the salmon and the surprising meatloaf. Desserts, too, are exquisite. Friendly service, easy-going atmosphere.
Everyone at Render delighted us (a large collegiate lacrosse team) from the deliciously fresh food, comforting environment and lovely service. We felt so well treated. The top ordered dish was the NY strip and it was fantastic!!! I didn't want it to end, this was well above your average steak entree you could truly taste the freshness of the steak. The dish was filling but not too heavy. I'm not usually a salad fan but the lettuce was tasty with the right amount of dressing ah such great flavors. It went smoothly couldn't have asked for it any better. Thank you.
I had a fantastic time on my anniversary here. The wait staff (Zack) really too care of us. The food was incredible. The drinks were phenomenal as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner.
Elegant little gem off the beaten path, excellent cuisine with great presentation. The eclectic menu gives rise to some anticipation, and surely doesn’t disappoint.I’ll definitely return.
We really enjoyed our meals. My crispy skin salmon was perfection. My son’s meatloaf was the best that he has eaten (his words) and his wife truly enjoyed her Confit duck fried rice. Delicious dessert was a trio of crème brûlées, yummm. Excellent service.
It's amazing great tasting food from beginning to end. Had the salmon, and was delicious and crispy skin. My wife had the New York strip, it melts in your mouth. Very picky with Bok Choy and it was delightful.... They know their greens. Will definitely make this a regular spot. South Bend has some hidden gems!!!!!
I’m really disappointed in our experience here Saturday night. It was our first time here and we told the waitress as much. She was completely disengaged and just quickly told us everything they were already out of and walked away. The menu is already very limited, and they were out of 4 dishes. It was pretty slow for a Saturday night. It put such a bad taste in our mouth my husband wanted to just leave but I was still trying to be open minded. When she finally came back, there was no explanation of the dishes (menu wording is fairly brief). My husband ordered the meatloaf and I got the New York strip. The meatloaf came out a full 6 minutes before the steak, so he mostly ate alone. When the steak finally arrived it had zero flavor. Not even salt. For $100 meal (we also got the boa bun app and each a drink) I am so disappointed.
Yesterday my girlfriend and I went out to dinner here. Let me tell you, it was an incredible experience! The GM and server really took care of us and made the experience so much better! Quite possibly the greatest food I have ever had in the Michiana area. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!
