Visited the place several times, food was just bad, fried on industrial oil, probably from old cars or tanks.Service no better, never pick up the phone, if you want to order for pick up, always say that very busy, even if half of tables are empty. Confuse my order, gave me fish instead of chicken. Somebody always smokes outside and another couple standing in corner, talking loudly, laughing, that why they are busy.Anyway they just don’t care about you and your order. Don’t recommend. My comments to owner response, despite numerous calls they never picked up a phone, yes employees smoked outside in public , I’m so disappointed with food and service, that I don’t need refund or free food , just don’t care about the place, never go there, never recommend.
I've been here a number of times with our weekly running group, and I can say that there is much to be desired from this location. The service that we have had on several occasions is subpar...we either have to wait forever (15-30 min) for any type of service or the server/bartender seems like they really don't care to help anyone. One time our server never came back and we had to hunt her down for our checks. The food is ok, nothing to write home about. If you are thinking about going out for dinner, either hit up Brothers or Taphouse and you will be much happier than wasting your time here.
The food and atmosphere were decent but overpriced by a large amount. However, the service was an absolute joke. The waitress didn't seem to care about anything except getting away from our table as fast as possible. Both orders were wrong and included ingredients we didn't ask for, and others that weren't even listed on the menu! After taking 15 minutes to bring out our additional drinks, and forgetting EVERYTHING ELSE we asked for, the waitress merely said the word "sorry" and walked away. I'd recommend just staying away from this place, as other reviews indicate this is an ongoing problem that hasn't been addressed.
I can't thank Chantell and Alec enough for the wonderful service. We had to change locations for our wedding reception at the last minute, and Chantell took the time to work with us in short notice to book their private room - going so far as to work with our group on her day off just to make sure we had a great experience. The food was wonderful and our guests all had great things to say.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
We had reservations for a party of 30 and got there and there were no tables for us. They had booked another large party just an hour before us and we had to find tables and chairs and push them together but still didn't have enough space for our group. That was very disappointing and frustrating. However, the waitress worked her tail off and did a great job and the food came out quickly. I would definitely recommend this place if they can get their act together with their reservations.
For starters, I've NEVER had a bad meal at this place, the food has always been above average, that said the service is kinda hit or miss. Can we please stop it with the online only menus? I sat at the bar and the QR code was taped to the bar, right where everyone sets their food/drinks/arms so not shockingly it was worn off and my phone wouldn't read it. After being told paper menus weren't a thing there had to go 3 seats down to scan another one. If the bar were full I'd have not only been even more annoyed, I'd have to have annoyed a couple other people just to see a menu. Hopefully your profit margins aren't so razor thin that you can't afford printer paper, or to pay well enough that servers stay for more than a few months at a time.
Nice bar. Pretty busy for a Sat afternoon in January. Wedding party I was with called ahead and was told there was an open "back room" but when we arrived with the bride and groom, no back room was offered. Place was busy and may have been short staffed as well. Servers were a bit hard to catch but very attentive when we ordered drinks and some food. Music was a bit loud for our tastes but didn't seem to bother anyone else. Would like to visit again.
It's an all right place. Great selection of drinks and food. There's a bit less college kids in this one which is nice. Only problem I have is how expensive it is. Definitely not a place you want to get buzzed in cause your eyes will widen at your check lol. I'll be back for a pint though.
This was our first time at O'Rourke's. The restaurant was very nice and the waitstaff pleasant and prompt. My husband ordered The Blarney and he said it was very good. I ordered the Guinness Burger and it was ok. It was good but nothing special. Both meals were served with chips with fries $1 upcharge.
Came for lunch on Fri before the ND game. We like to sit at the bar and it was nice to have Bloody Mary's for a change. Robert was a friendly bartender. We had some lunch and watched some sports on the TV's. One of our places we like to go on game weekends. Always upbeat and crowded. See ya again!
