Seating was quick. Service was quick, efficient, and accurate. Food was very good. The chili was slightly bean heavy but had excellent flavor. The baked tilapia was very moist and a larger size than expected.
I sat for 45 minutes to get another beer wait staff doesnt check on meal WAY TO OVERPRICED. DO NOT STOP UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE TIME AND MONEY. PORK CHOP DINNER UNCHEWABLE I TOOK HOME TO MY GERMAN SHEPARD. WHAT THEY ADVERTISE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET Even craiglist has them looking for cooks dishwashers and wait staff thats pathetic. Do not eat hereits not all caps
Always excellent! Steaks are always flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Large, fresh tossed salads, tasty soups, and nice assortment of sides and desserts. Drinks with dinner or upstairs in the bar are always great. Fish and chicken are crispy and well prepared, as are sandwiches. Kids menu selection is amble for even picky eaters. Wish I'd had room for appetizers this time. Impeccable, friendly staff and owners. Feels like family dinner every time. They've been ahead of the distance dining for years with their barn experience. It was our first time eating at Maxi’s. We’d heard such great things. We had 6 in our party. They were super busy. When waitress came to grab the drink order, she got to my husband, he looked up at me and she told him “don’t look at her you can order what you want”. That set the tone for me. She proceeded to use the f bomb many times during the service. Even if that hadn’t taken place, my rice wasn’t fully cooked, my husbands prime rib was over cooked and two of our guests had cold baked potatoes. I was lucky and my prime rib was actually very good as well as all of our appetizers. Not sure this is the place I would go and drop that kinda money at again.
Took my wife here for date night as we had heard a lot of good things about it from friends. It has a unique feel inside and our server was very friendly. We each ordered steaks and no dessert and after tip we had spent around $90 dollars. The stakes were good, but not memorable enough to say they were better than most other places we have been to. Not a lot of flavor without the onions and mushrooms on top.
Great food and drinks! Wonderful server she took care of our party like we were family. Highly recommend everyone to visit.
First and last time visiting. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the charbroiled mahi mahi. It was served with a side salad. The dish consisted of two very small filets and 8 french fries. The price, $20. It was barely an appetizer.
The food is pretty mediocre: not the worst in the world, but nothing stands out and it’s the sort of fare you can get at a million other generic places. The decor also needs an update… I’d wager that it hasn’t been changed in 30 years.
Service was good but the food was below mediocre. $30 for a steak that was bland and tough. Any other steakhouse is way better. Don't waste your money here
I wanted to like it, server was nice ( only had 2 for the dining room due to staffing shortages) have not been a long time and it’s hard to tell when they are open or closed, but it’s Overpriced. More for your $$ at the steakhouse next door.
