Excellent food and service. We had the Chinese Broccoli in Garlic sauce, Family Style Tofu, and Hong Sui Eggplant. All three dishes were very nicely prepared. Excellent flavors and textures. The vegetables were not overcooked and had a great, fresh crunch to it. Nice thing is that it was not too salty.I will certainly go back to this restaurant!
We thoroughly enjoy Mandarin House. We miss going regularly, we moved a few years back, but get it as often as possible. Their food is tasty, fresh, and always piping hot - made to order. The sping rolls are excellent and their sauce to accompany is delicious. I love that they add green onion and bean sprouts to their fried rice - it makes it taste lighter (I'm not sure if this makes sense, but its the only verb I can associate with the feeling when I eat it)!If you're in town, give them a try - they do takeout but dine-in is next level good!
My family and I love Chinese food, and Mandarin House was one of the few that we hadn't tried thus far.So, the other day when my daughter and I received an invitation for lunch, we couldn't wait! ?There were four of us, and we each tried something different...Absolutely delicious! Each meal that we ate, had so much flavor! We all got lunch specials. The plates were huge to say in the least! We ALL left very full, with leftovers in our hands!I'm hoping to go again soon!Try Mandarin House! You WILL NOT be disappointed! ????????
Good and fresh food. Also very responsive to client specific requests such as level of spices etc.
I have enjoyed this restaurant for years. Authentic and quant. Prices are reasonable. Quality and quantity are right in line. I would recommend to any person who enjoys this cuisine.
Best Chicken Fried Rice in town! Not to mention the Shrimp Toast.
Best Egg rolls and pork fried rice in all of South Bend
Always great food. Price is comparable to taste and portions. It may get hectic for carryout, but they are pretty good on time. Staff is always hospitable and prompt. Dining in is always a pleasure too. Wait staff is great!
First time dining here and I must admit, I was quite impressed. The food was affordable and very delicious! I had the sweet and sour chicken while my wife opted for the pepper . They were both lunch specials and cost less than $10 each! The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend!
You have to go back in time to 1969 in NYC Chinatown to find this authentic menu and prepared just like this, Peking Ravioli, Mu Shu Porc, and crispy marinated Duck.
