Restaurant week menu was amazing.

We have been at this restaurant several times in the past few months and our visit this time was very different from our past experiences. The service was very slow and we were never able to receive our dessert despite it being a part of our set menu. The server was very apologetic but it didn’t appear that anyone in management cared. Every business is entitled to an occasional “off” day and hopefully yesterday was it.

The food was really great, plus the drink and dessert was too. We went at a slow time but everyone around provided great service. Our server was kind and attentive. Someone at the front helped us get the elevator. Everyone around even said goodbye to us.

Gyros plate was ok but lacked the spicy taste of a true gyro. Steak sandwich was a tasteless steak on a bun. Totally overpriced for mediocre food.

Tuesday’s burger and drink night is always excellent value. The service is efficient and the ambiance is conducive to the menu.

Food was very good, but menu options were somewhat limited, and also a bit on the pricey side. Had a great time playing trivia there and will return for that sometime soon.

Always a very consistent performer. A nice feature is being able to order from the regular restaurant menu while dining in the Kitchen & Tavern restaurant.

We had a party of 6. 4 of them had the filet and a couple of them said it was the best filet they had ever had. Steak was so tender that all you needed was a fork to cut it up. I had the salmon and it was the best salmon dish I have ever had. The cream sauce was the absolute best and complemented the salmon perfectly.

Last night we stopped in for dinner after an art show. It was our first time visiting LaSalle Kitchen and it was fantastic! The atmosphere is warm, inviting and casual. Our server was sweet and very efficient. We ordered wine and a starter of green bean fries, perfectly prepared with a crispy seasoned coating and tender inside. For our dinner we both chose the Johnny B. Gouda hamburger with French fries that was juicy and delicious with that nicely melted cheese on top. Wow! There was a guitarist/singing duo performing music in the background which added to the upbeat atmosphere. We definitely look forward to our next visit here soon!!
