During Class of 2020 commencement weekend 2.0, they raised all their prices (understandable from a business perspective) and even charged for water (also understandable if you have low morals). What really upset me was having a member of our group denied a cup of water even when they told the bartender they were driving home. "Sorry, you have to pay for water".... bruh

This place is great if you want to get on the dance floor and have an absolute blast with your friends! Definitely pregame for the best experience though, drinks are expensive and can be hard to get when it’s really busy. I’ve been here a handful of times and can’t wait to go again!
They should probably advertise that this is a COLLEGE ONLY bar now. You won't get in without a student ID.

Absolutely terrible service. My best friend and I walked 6 blocks in the snow to go to newfs. Within 2 hours of closing, we arrived on the scene, and was turned away RUDELY by the black bouncer. Saying the doors are closed, but then proceeded to let a group of white males in behind us. Madison and RJ were so awesome and helpful. My group had a slight issue and they helped us in a professional timely manner. Good employees are hard to find! In my humble opinion they both deserve a raise!
This is a bar where you can dance while a DJ plays some hits from 2014. I’ve been twice. One time I left at 11pm and this older guy literally yelled at me and said “where are you going? The party’s just getting started.” Another time I took my siblings and we drank some cheap mixed drinks out of plastic cups and made fun of this guy because he seemed like the type who would say “last night was a movie.”Anyway. It’s a fine spot if you’re in college and want a loud music-y place to dance. Like any club, cover your drinks.Also this is the only time I will post pictures on the internet of myself at Finnie’s.
