The server was so nice and young and I didn’t want to upset her but the food was awful( beans rice cold) and the chicken burrito had cold dark meat with the cold rice
I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and they have yet to disappoint. The majority of their food is seafood but I decided yo taste their queso birria tacos and all I can say is WOW!!! These beef tacos were AMAZING!! They are not spicy and the consomé you dip them in is sooooo good!! You must try this place. Also be ready to hear loud Spanish music while you eat. This isn’t a place for quiet conversation. Stop by, have a Michelada and be ready to enjoy really good food!
Called them for take out and they gave me a time for my food to be ready, after that I stillGive them a few minutes then when I get to the restaurant I’m just standing there and the workers don’t even come up to me to see what I want when theirs workers just walking around not doing anything still had to wait their looking stupid. 2/10 rude customer service in my opinion

I have tried multiple times to place a carry out order with this establishment. Either they turn their phone off, set it to do not disturb, or simply don't answer during business hours. We have been searching for a new place since our prior favorite shut down during the pandemic and El Tecate was the recommended replacement. Unfortunately we have not been able to place an order and certainly don't care to travel to the location only to be turned away ior the doors locked etc. I feel like we are missing out but it's El Tecate that misses out because once established we are VERY loyal and frequent customers. Certainly disappointed by the lack of communicating.
Good food Good atmosphere. Could be a little bigger but overall a good experience drove 45 minutes to get there but definitely worth the trip and will be back

had to leave my review before i even leave the restaurant! my tacos were absolutely delicious , the live music was amazing! 100/100 recommend this place. very satisfied.
