My little son and I stopped in and got breakfast burritos. The meat lover was pretty standard but delicious. Homemade salsa on request. Good coffee. My boy took a chance on the chicken breakfast burrito and decided he had to tell them it was one of his favorite things that he'd ever eaten. I tried it too and it really was crazy good with some nicely cooked chicken in there with the usual breakfast stuff. We'll be regulars now.
Pleasantly surprised at the place. People were super nice, food was amazing. Home made hot sauce to die for. I will be back.
Great menu options. Something for everyone at any time of day. A true home town dinner. Everyone in my family enjoyed it, even the picky eaters.
My 2 kids and I stopped for breakfast today on my daughters birthday. We come in and sit down. This pregnant waitress comes to our table with a very rude attitude from the start and asks a ridiculous question of “Are you guys going to want something to drink over here?” And I replied “Well of course.” So my son asks if they have a root beer, only to The response of “Dr Pepper”. So he asked again if they have root beer and got the same response so I had to clarify to her that she is asking if you have a root beer and finally she said no but we have Dr Pepper. So I told her to bring two sprites for the kids and I’ll take a Dr Pepper. The menus were still where they were placed and she asked if we needed a few minutes and I said yes we’re gonna need a few minutes still. I started to ask another question and she just walked away and didn’t even say anything. So I went to tell her to forget the sodas that we are leaving and her and another girl were talking about us in Spanish (we are Puerto Rican and understand what they were saying). So when I got to the car I called them and asked for the pregnant waitresses name and when the owner will be available because she was very rude to yes and they hung up I had to call back twice and let her know that I am Recording our conversation then she said she was going to call the police ??? She should have called the police because a customer complained about the piss poor service they received. I can tell you this that I will never go back to that restaurant ever again. And Oscar Dominguez when you read this I would love to speak to you personally.
5 Star all day...Great people great menu . ( above average presentation n service ahead of Miami location). Will not disappoint..update ..should not have taken so long..many visits later here I am. PEOPLE LISTEN UP...GIVE THEM A VISIT...have eaten at many restaurants in South bend and mishawaka always no ALWAYS. come back here. on western Avenue. cannot ask for better service and never ending cup of coffee.6/12 still my go to for breakfast anytime. really great service2.4.2022 revisit . ordered my favorite offering vegi skillet. reviews all over good n bad. I have experiencedI both. service was always pleasant and attentive. decor and upkeep leaves to be desired. bendix on Miami St the same.. renovation is desperately needed.
They have a very good and large breakfast selection. The servers were good and the food was good.If I were to complain, it would be about the coffee being too weak. It could have been just the carafe.
The food was good the service was good but I was ripped off and over charged 8 dollars after I already tipped the waitress 7.52 cent tip on a 32.48 check I called and was very upset and they called me a liar and told them I had my bank statement to prove it and refused to refund my money I will never eat there again.
We love this place! The food, the prices and most of all….the crew, is what keeps us coming back and recommending it to everyone we know!
I live foen the street from here and come often, good food and not real expensive. ?
Poor training, I was a server for over 30 years and I know poor training. The food was good but they were out of what I originally ordered and it took them over ten minutes to tell me. My date was served before she put in my second request.This restaurant feels like a privately owned establishment and they don't care about being on top of the guest's needs. My server was forgetful she had to make many trips back to our table.Nice girl, she just seemed to have no interest in the job.
