I feel terrible giving this establishment 2 stars because it is our favorite restaurant. Today was a bad experience. Our service was the worst I have experienced anywhere. The restaurant was more than half empty and we had long waits for Everything. My order had several errors and she forgot my dry toast. I asked for it and specifically said again, dry rye. Later it arrived soaking with grease. I asked her to exchange it and it never arrived. My cousin and I discussed it and I said I didn't want to give a bad review because she could have been having a bad day. So last time I spoke to her she asked if everything was good. I asked her if was new. She said "No, why, did it suck.?" I explained it gently to her and she was argumentive and made all kinds of excuses in an attempt to dismiss me.
A coworker and myself had lunch at this place. Ordered breakfast, scrambled eggs,SOFT, NOT WET. Well they weren't wet, they were scorched and folded like an omelet, to hide the color. I didn't call for server, they were getting busy, and we needed to return to work across town. As we were paying the owner was nearby. I told him of the situation. He asked if I had informed the server, I replied no. His head fell to side, eye brow went up and with no other response HE WALKED AWAY! We frequented them several times a week, food, gas and a tip is $12-$15 bucks a hit. Between the two of us, we easily spend $30-35 each time. A comment to at least appear to be concerned would've been the more... prudent thing to do! I guess he figured that we were on our way out, and paid already, other $$$ is coming in, well...Every business is looking for loyal customers ? UNCONCERNED...GONNA COST YA!! Should'a took a pic?
We eat at Angelo's several times a week. Just a few reasons, portions large, prices low. Extras like juice included in most breakfasts. Entire staff from the brothers to table bus are courteous and friendly. If you have an issue they go with the customers wishes. We eat out lots and rate Angelo's in the top choices for an enjoyable meal.

It's always a good place to grab a quick sit down breakfast with your family or friends. The atmosphere and generally always alive & the food is homestyle family food. Its easy & casual. Owners have always been very friendly!
One of the two of us sent her food back. She tried something else. I tried both of her dishes. ?Mine was a 3 star.

I've gone to Angelo's for years, last Sunday I fell on my back on ice in the parking lot, of course I went home instead of having breakfast. 1 week later I went to Angelo's for breakfast to have the lady tell me next time drive closer to the door... Really.... Uncaring, let's see what a lawyer says... Especially with a witness.
