Haven't been here in years and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Met up with some family for dinner and the waitress was great!

Food is always great. Great service too. Today we had the fried walleye, frog legs and lake perch. Each was lightly breaded, served a warm plate. Very good. Have been here many times over last 45 years. Food, service and atmosphere is consistently great. We'll be back again.

Everything here is hit or miss. When the food is good, it's great. When it's bad, it's a super expensive waste of time and money. The serving experience is the same. This is probably the "go to" nice place in the area. At this point it's clear that reputation is based on people's experience from years ago. Parking is always great since the lot is huge. This place gets expensive quick. A fried chicken dinner for one person is $28. So keep that in mind if you're thinking of grabbing a cheap sit down meal with your kids.

I don't make it to the restaurant very often because I'm not a resident of IN. I happened to be in the area for business when I decided to stop in. The restaurant was clean and modern. I ordered the chicken/yellow perch dinner w/a cup of clam chowder soup and the relish plate. It was all very fresh and tasty. The orange sherbet that was included in the dinner was light and refreshing. The server was Josh, he provide fast and friendly service. It was an altogether good experience.

Stopped in at Teibel’s to have lunch, my first time there, despite them being a local institution. They have been in business for over 90 years and I can see why. The dining room area was clean and very nicely appointed. Staff were friendly and prompt. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The east side of the restaurant is handicapped accessible as are several of the available restrooms. There are several different dining areas available throughout the building. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent food and excellent waiter.

I never thought I'd be highly recommending Teibel's. They have kind of a dated feel with old-school (classic?) menu options. Our family has been there multiple times throughout the years, and it felt like a restaurant more for my parents than for the younger generations. Despite my impression, they are actually keeping up with the times. I was really impressed when we went there recently. I asked the server about their gluten-free options, and she KNEW immediately what was and wasn't gluten-free. That is rare for most restaurants, sadly. She also offered to get me some gluten-free rolls, and my meal came out with a little "gluten-free" flag on it. When we were ordering dessert, I asked if the lava cake could be made gluten-free, fully expecting that to be an impossibility. But she said YES, they make a gluten-free lava cake! ? Lava cake is my favorite dessert, but I haven't had it in years as no one else makes it gluten-free (and baking a GF lava cake myself would be a real challenge). I was absolutely ecstatic. And it was SO good!Really, truly excellent customer service. They are leading the way for serving gluten-free customers.

Beautiful restaurant friendly staff with above and beyond service. Our waitress Mary was amazing. Great food!!

Very good restaurant. The staff is very friendly, very efficient. The soups are out of this world. My favorite, the Southwestern Chicken Tortilla. The fried chicken and lake perch are addictive. Delicious. From the luncheon menu to dinner menu,I have loved everything on the menu. Would recommend Teibel' Family Restaurant to everyone.

4 of us for dinner last weekend was wonderful as usual. Great waitress Amy-H Everything was so good: blue cheese dressing on salad, southwest tortilla soup, frog legs, lake perch, walleye, ice cream for dessert, Comfy chairs in main dining room. Drinks great too! We love this restaurant!
