Every single time I come to this location I am blown away by the phenomenal service I am given. The crew is amazing. My order was accurate, hot and ready 2 minutes after I pressed “confirm order” as if they had already known what my family would order. I recommend this particular location to anyone looking for great service and food served the way it should be. Great job guys! Keep up the great work! God bless you all!
All I can say is be very careful to use their account because when I ordered food through online and want to pick up their using postmates and then when I canceled because it was a wrong store instead in Merrillville I ordered at Sherillville. But the manager called them to cancel my order and I will get my refund 2-3 days business days. But I got none so I valeed and the staff said wait until 7 days and when it's 7 days I called again so they told me they cannot refund me because my order is through postmates!!!! Their the one using that for the customers and they cannot help if there is any problem..lazy people! Now I am suffering to.comtact my bank and postmates. This is the 2nd time I had a problem.in steak n' shake first I used their wifi and register my debit and somebody hacked my card and charge me 99.99 so.since then I never went in any of their restaurant and when I get recovered from trauma here again. If I will not resolve this problem with my own because they never help my problem so I won't recommend to you guys.or be very careful. Disgusting website to.order and lazy staff font know how to help their customers who has a problem because we never know if our money will.get refunded..
Food was ok, my burger was a little bit pink last time I was here, gross. I’m giving 3 stars because of the young lady with braids in her hair that works in the dining room, she has exceptional customer service, every time we come here she is always very friendly, courteous and helpful. I’m sorry I forget to catch her name but she deserves a raise!
Clean place, the lady does a superb job in keeping the installations clean. No usual Steak ‘n Shake smell. Clean food; the taste: what you expect.
I like the new process of ordering at the kiosk. My sister's favorite burger place, burgers are always fresh and tasty.
Prices up a bit but still a great meal. Clean. Friendly. Easy to use touch screen ordering kiosk.
Not sure why currently this doesn't have at least 4 stars! I've been here twice within the past month and WOW the service and food is SUPER!! I can only speak for the drive-thru, haven't been inside yet. Please recognize your staff (if you haven't already) because they are the NICEST and most FRIENDLY!!! My food always came out hot and fresh and PACKED with toppings! I live 30 min away, and it's always worth coming to this location over others in the area.
We visited on Friday, 1/21/22, for dinner. We allowed our 12 year old niece to pick our night out and it has been years since my wife and I have eaten at a Steak 'n Shake. We were greeted by the staff, dinner was served quickly and the store was clean. That being said, the food is just not good! I had a double burger that looked like it should be in a kiddie meal. The hot dog was $3.57 for a simple hot dog! Over priced, under delivered and poor value. Glad I tried it again to never return. The bun was the best part of the meal. Definitely avoid this chain!
You walk in and there is a very courteous waitress that takes your order before you sit down. But there is one other customer and nothing but empty tables and booths. A friend and I went in for shakes. The shakes were okay but a little on the icy side, not very creamy.
Thank you for employees who showed me and my best friend how to use the kiosk. That's not easy for a lot of seniors. Thank you for your customer service staff
