I ordered a beef sandwich and tortellini salad. Both were really good!
Good food, fair prices. Had the Italian beef sandwich with cheese and hot giardianra. Wife had spaghetti and meatballs. Both were good. Potato chip appetizer was ok , nothing too exciting.
I'm so happy with my food. fresh made Italian sausage! garlic cheese curds were the best I've ever had. ? the portions are HUGE. I would recommend 10/10

I use to go in the mid 90s when they were in cal city and loved it!!! I don’t know how long they’ve been in Schererville but I’ve been there maybe 4 times. My go to was the Italian combo. In the cal city days I had leftovers for dinner. Now the sandwiches are smaller and more money. Definitely still good!!! But like everything else it seems like portions are getting smaller and prices are way up. Thus why only 3 stars.
Looking for a great pizza in Schererville. Been living in the area for about 3 years, could not find a decent pizza until now. Lived in Chicago for 46 years with great pizza. Hard to find one in Indiana. Found Pepino's on web. I thought let's try this establishment. Worried what the pizza was going to taste like, so I ordered just a slice of sausage and a combo sandwich. Wow. Finally found a place. Great food. Can't wait to order a full pizza. Great staff.
Great food, and great service. Only complaint is the salad and garlic bread that come with the pasta dinners are a bit small. Main entrees are large portions.
I've been eating this place since they were in Cal City. Sure the beefs aren't the size of your arm anymore, but they're just as good. Hot food, quick service, and a clean restaurant. recipe for success.
