Great service and tasty food
We were first time visitors and I loved it! Nice friendly atmosphere the servers were very polite. Our server Tyler was just awesome helpful and full of energy. He was very positive and give us great recommendations on what to order. I ordered Tamales w/!beans, rice and guacamole. There was so much food I had to it home. I'll absolutely recommend this to my family and friends. I will be going back to order the steak fajitas ??
The place doesn’t feel clean. The walk in was polluted with garbage and bird droppings. Drinks were good, waitress did not know what was in drinks and because there is no drink menus she should. In addition she stood there chewing gum. To be honest, we finished our drinks and left. They were nice but just not a comfort feel inside. Food looked good but when your shelling out some decent cash you expect some cleanliness and professionalism.
Tables were dirty, fixtures were dusty. We received one set of silverware with food crusted on it though it was rolled up in a napkin anyways. Ended up having ants crawling across the table towards the end of our visit. The food is subpar with very little flavor. Even the free salsa is bland. I'm honestly not sure they know what spices are. The nacho cheese on my burrito was near flavorless and to compare it to a gas station nacho cheese would be a disrespect to the gas station. The salt on the table was rock solid so there wasn't an opportunity to even try and add some flavor. Service was good, which is the only reason I'm giving this 1 star. It had been 5 years since our last visit and I was really hoping things had changed and improved, but alas, still disappointed. I'm not even sure if anything had been cleaned since the last time we were there. I will not be recommending this to anyone and will encourage friends and family to take their business elsewhere.
I can't believe the service I got last night and was forced to tip 18%. I'm a big tipper when it's deserved . My waitress brought me the wrong then when the right order came my tortillas weren't fully cooked like they were rushing to get it out ... charged me a extra for things I did not order, glad I looked over the bill . the manager offered me 10$ off but that wasn't enough for the poorness service I got from server . look at the $14 dollars worth of guacamole I received
Please don't waste your time these people do not value your business, had to have the police on the premises they messed up my order wasn't willing to change it and sais I got what I ordered, whatever happened to making the customer happy and satisfied, we were told by the police this restaurant has had several complaints sgainst them, go somewhere that people value ur business .??
My parents #1 place for Mexican food in the region check out their tacos and fish tacos they are definitely are go to options
There was a last minute change to this restaurant over another one. But I'm glad we did. They sat us with the quickness and the food was amazing. Naomi our server was very good at her job. Good authentic food. Drinks were good too lol.
Jalapenos' was excellent. I was there with family for a late lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. Not only was the food tasty, Jalapenos' did not skimp on the servings; we took food home. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the items we had questions about. This is my second experience with Jalapenos'. I do plan to go again. Oh yes, according to my family, the spirited drinks were well made.
